Me! –
I nearly killed myself inadvertently ice skating on my new area rug, so I started looking for a solution. I didn’t have much faith in these TBH, but I only needed them temporarily as the rug will eventually move once the pandemic WFH ends. So I slapped them on and tried sliding the rug – NOPE And I’m not small. I got THIGHS. No wiggle (from the rug, not my thighs) Since then the Roomba, a rolling ottoman, a 1yr old, a 13yr old and a few guests have walked, tumbled, shuffled, and even wrestled and it’s stayed put. I’m impressed!

I was buying what I thought was a similar set to what I had bought previously, but these are like a foam stick pad and not a silicone pad. I need something to grip rugs to prevent dogs from moving them. These don’t work and I have removed them.

I purchased these for a small area rug I purchased for my bathroom. We had new vinyl plank flooring installed and could not lay a mat with a rubber non slip backing. These attached to the back of the rug well (there is a fabric back on the rug). The adhesion to the floor is really good. The rug does not move at all. Just remember to apply pressure to the pads once you have placed the rug where you want it on the floor. The pressure helps the pads to adhere to the floor. I am happy with my purchase.

These are fab! I have a rug that I absolutely adore but due to washing it repeatedly because of spillages etc the rubber backing had worn away and I had many an experience of watching my dog go skidding on the rug across the wooden floors. This has solved the problem perfectly and no more surfing across the floor or bunching up!

I purchased these for the intended purpose. I have rugs that I do not want to move. However, the instructions included with the product indicate that if you leave the rug in place for an extended period of time it can become permanently bonded with the floor and cause damage if you try to remove it. They recommend moving the rug once a week to avoid this. Why would I want to remove the rug if I purchased the product to avoid having to move the rug?
Product works fine but I don’t want to jack up my floor by leaving the rug in place, nor do I want to have to move the rug weekly.

These fully secure both a heavy Chinese rug and a lightweight polyester rug on my laminate flooring. Even with my dogs taking flying leaps at them haven’t moved on the floor at all! They unstick from the floor and reseal no problem too when moving the rugs to clean underneath them.
