I have always had good luck with Amazon Basics, but the 1/8 connector on this cable does not work well. I can’t tell if its poor size tolerance or perhaps oxidization because of the metal used, but it will not connect properly to iPhones. I tried 3 different iPhones and you have to wiggle the connector to get a proper full stereo connection. I have other brands of connectors like this one that work perfectly on the same iPhones. I don’t recommend you purchase this product.

Decent cable, good flexible materials and solid construction. The soft rubbery casing makes it easy to handle and non “janky”. In other words, if you hold the cable up in the air and it falls straight, it’s not janky. Some lesser quality cables will keep their stiff zig zag shape, long after you take the wire ties off, which is highly undesirable. There also seems to be a respectable amount of strain relief between the wire and the connection ends. This is the second Amazon Basics branded cable I have purchased in the past 6 months, and I have been very satisfied with both. No problems with either. Recommended!

Unfortunately these cable cords did not last I had hoped. The quality in respect to visually. Love the cable length when they working sound was clear. These last few days they buzzing paper-scratching noise. I’ve ordered another one to the cord or if the speaker. Bought a second pair, in less than 2 weeks they no longer work. Amazon yo need to retire this product.

I believe when I get a defective item, it’s sometimes just luck of the draw. This is one of those times.
The left side started cutting out recently. Moving the cable around for the left channel makes this better or worse. Into the garbage it goes!

Your connectors probably aren’t much more expensive than this, seeing as you will be plugging into the back of a motherboard. So don’t go wasting money on $50 RCA adapters no matter how hilarious the Schiit audio manual is. These cables will work fine enough. If you lack any clarity then purchasing a DAC will do a ton more than purchasing $50 RCA to 3.5mm adapters ever will.
So unless your motherboard has platinum-plated connectors, yeah, go with these. They also arrived within 1 day!

I can’t even remember why I originally bought this but it didn’t get used as I’d bought the wrong thing. However, last week after putting an old home cinema amplifier under my TV and hooking up some passive speakers, I realised I could be totally clever and hook up my echo to the amp to play music! Genius! And guess what cable I needed to do that…..this one duh. Anyway, the sound is gorgeous, which is definitely helped by this quality of cable. Amazon’s own brand is goooood

After days of wild anticipation, I intercepted the delivery person on the roadside. Could it be that the Amazon Basics cable I had coveted for so long was finally here? I tore open the packaging and there it was, gleaming in the sunlight. I waited 14 weeks to plug it in and then pushed the 3.5mm jack in 1mm at a time, so as not to rush the exquisite pleasure of owning a new cable. So far I have inserted the entire tip and am halfway through the ring. Glorious.

Updated Review : – Guys it’s unique design may cause an issue to get fit in your system so please check the design before buying. It’s slightly hard to insert it but if you don’t switch them regularly then it’s not an issue. For good quality we can do it. Again 5 Stars.
They are not just thin metal like most budget cables, they are nice thick gold plated ends.
My cable is still working fine. No issues. Superb Quality.
Old Review :- Guys go for it. It’s the best RCA cable at this price and durability is high. Quality is awesome . No humming sound. Variant options for lenth is the also very good. You can purchase the lengthy cable as per the requirement.

Passes the signal just fine, along with other Amazonbasics interconnects, from a Tablet, to a tube buffer, tube Preamplifier, active crossovers, class a amplifiers, and hybrid planar tweeter and midrange speakers. No discernible sonic falloff between these wonderfully inexpensive interconnects, and the Equinox, Eclipse, Cross, Crosslink, Hero, PBJ, and Red Dawn interconnects at hand here. The only one here which MAY be slightly better is a Transparent Audio networked cable, which is about 35 times more expensive. That makes it not worthwhile spending more than these on cable. The money would be better spent on upgrading the audio components.
The cable was used to plug a sound source into a speaker with multiple inputs. There is not much description for the shielding used on the item page, but I experienced plenty of noise and cross talk through the speaker when plugged in, even when the sound source was not turned on. I have tried multiple devices and there is always interference.
On the outside the item looks fairly well made, but because the shielding is so poor I cannot recommend this cable.

I was planning to run from the 3.5mm aux port on my laptop to 2x seperate standalone powered speakers.
However, what isn’t clear from the pictures or spec is that the RCA plugs combine into 1 x single cable after only 2-3 inches, so there isn’t enough reach on them to plug into both speakers. I’ve had to buy and extension cable for the second RCA plug to reach the second speaker. The pictures should clearly show this!
However, other than that it works, and prime delivery good as usual so 3 stars.

I needed this cable to hook up a wireless audio device to my older home theater setup. This helped complete the setup/install to bring my receiver up to date a little bit. I can now stream music wirelessly through my setup!
The cable is constructed well and does not feel cheap. The cable is quite pliable and not stiff like the dollar store variety. Connections to my receiver and my wireless audio device is firm and tight. Sound, can’t really comment much about a subjective subject but sound has come through strong and clear.
Will not hesitate to purchase this again if needed for another application.

I use this with a little 2x20W amp for my computer speakers. Previously I was using a much cheaper cable that was given to me. With the old cable I would get random crackling and popping. And if the cable got moved or even touched it would make nasty static sounds. This cable solved all the issues I had. Since I plugged it in there have been exactly 0 problems. No snaps, crackles, or Pops…
