Vintage Canon AE-1 Program 35mm SLR Camera with 50mm 1:1.8 Lens

This review is long overdue because I just got my first two rolls of film back from this camera. All of the shots where half exposed! I looked at the shutter curtain and it is broken! It does not close all the way when the film is wind. I’m disappointed that they would sell a camera that doesn’t work. Now I have to find a place to get this repaired.

Got this camera to practice my photography on film. I’ve really enjoyed having this camera around. Price was a little expensive since I noticed them for sale in retail locations for quite a bit cheaper, but since the camera I received worked like new, I can’t complain. I would recommend it if you’re thinking about a starter camera.

This camera was my entrance to film photography and it would have been perfect if it wasn’t £160. The only reason that I spent to money is because I knew for sure that I would be sent a product that worked rather than taking a risk on eBay. Though my AE-1 works (by the way, it is an AE-1, not an AE-1 Program even though it’s listed that way), there are a few things that aren’t great, namely the fact that my mirror was scratched and marked, the bulb on the timer is no longer functioning, and the battery test beep does not go off. I hope this is helpful for anyone looking to buy this camera.
