I already have a 7in1 Hub but want to get this one because of the Ethernet port. I figured it would be more reliable than WiFi and faster. My internet speed is 600Mbps which is what I get on WiFi when doing speedtest but when this Hub even though rated for 1000Mbps it seem to be averaging around 130-140Mpbs. At it peak during multiple tests it have gone as high as 170Mbps but thats about as high it could go. Tested plugging the Ethernet cable directly to the PC port and I get the full 600Mpbs so it can’t be the internet connection itself. Through the process of elimination, I concluded that the device is the bottleneck that capped the speed. I wonder then if this is a defective device I have or are they all like this and just false advertised?

J’ai acheté cet adaptateur d’abord pour relier mon laptop avec une connexion filaire avec mon routeur via fil RJ-45 ce qui a fonctionné no 1! Par la suite, j’ai tenté ce dispositif avec mon nouveau Chromecast avec Google TV pour étendre les possibilités de mon Chromecast (plus de mémoire via une clé USB, relier un clavier, relier une connexion filaire Rj-45 au Chromecast) et tout a fonctionné!! Bref, je l’ai tellement apprécié que j’en ai acheté un 2e pour laisser celui que j’ai directement connecté a mon Chromecast et utiliser mon prochain avec mon laptop. Je recommande fortement!

I was in need of a good usb hub as my laptop has most of it’s connections at the back which is very annoying! I look at a few, but most had some features I wanted and others had nothing. I was pleasantly surprised to find this hub as not only does it have the typical USB 3.0, and microsd/sd card slots, but it also has a PD charging port so I can charge my phone at super speed, an ethernet port which my laptop doesn’t even have, and a hdmi port so I can add a second monitor if I need to multitask at home or something. I saw the price at $39 and was amazed to be getting all those features at that price point!
The build quality is plastic, but feels very solid not allowing any flex when pressing hard on it. The slots have a solid fit for their connections as I feel they would never just fall out. It connects by USB-C to the laptop which also has a solid connection. It was plug and play loading with windows drivers automatically. I tested some USB 3.0 drives and a microsd card, and each item was recognized right away.
I compared the speeds of the drives to an old hub I had, and the port in my laptop. All the USB drives had equivalent speed to directly connecting them to my laptop. Only 1 USB drive on my old hub was as fast as the new hub; the other USB drives and the microsd card were slower on the old hub by quite a large margin. I tested by transferring both a single last 4gb file and 4gb of mp3 files. If you need a more advanced USB hub this will do you very well; it performs like a champ!

I’ve owned MANY of these types of USB-C adapters including from Apple and other “big brands”. Honestly, this does everything brand named adapters do for less than half the cost. In fact, this is one of the only few adapters that does more than what some of the big brand adapters do.
I use it mainly for ethernet and HDMI output and have had zero issues with it. The build quality feels solid, I have it velcro-mounted to the outside screen of my laptop and I was worried about the tension of the cable from opening/closing the screen but its been a few months and haven’t had any issues yet. As I know I’m straining the cable more than I’m suppose to, I honestly wouldn’t be too upset if the cable eventually failed and I have to buy a new one.
Everything just works, no drivers, nothing to install, true plug and play. If you’re even considering one of these, just buy it, it’s going to be the best deal you will find. Don’t waste money on a brand name, this looks and works just as good if not better.

USBポートにはキーボード、マウス、開発用のスマートフォンを接続しています。 USB 3.0ポートx3でぴったりです。 キーボード、マウスはUSB 2.0でも問題なさそうですが。
Once you open the package you will immediately be able to tell that this product is very well built. Not only does it look great and has a sleek design, it has a nice texture and everything is labelled with a nice white font. The cable and ports are all very sturdy and good quality. Personally I do wish it had a bit more weight since it struggles to stay in place when I connect heavy duty cables to certain ports (my HDMI cables are bulky and weigh a lot). Other than that this is perfect, I’m using it as a “dock” for my XPS 15, I come home and plug it in to my laptop’s USB-C port and boom I’m connected to my desk setup.

Well built. I use pretty much every port on this hub when I’m at home with my macbook. I’m really happy with the variety and the ethernet cable. Transfer speeds don’t cap on the USB 3, however the SD card transfer speeds are capped on UHS2 hubs because the SD card reader doesn’t support UHS2. (two rows of pins on the sd cards) So you get about 80mb/s instead of 150mb/s.
If you’re looking for a UHS2 dedicated usb c hub, you can get a sandisk one on amazon, but I like having the USB ports on this one.
This thing is unbelievably awesome. It has everything you need on a laptop dock in a very small and portable format. Evey port works and they work far beyond my expectations. I tested the dual monitor capability and it is simply plug and play. The gigabit ethernet truly runs at gigabit speed. My video says it. Solidly built and each port is precise. Everything fits perfectly nice. This can replace expensive docks made by HP or Dell. I am really happy about this purchase.

HDMI接続が不安定で、1時間に1回ブラックアウトする。サポートに連絡したら、症状はどうか、USB-C接続口の写真を送れ、弊社の製品は悪くないというのを一日1回だけやり取りしてくれ、挙げ句のはてには返品したければAmazonサポートデスクに連絡しろとのことです。
（もちろん他社製品で確認して、PCやケーブル側の問題ではないことを確認済みです。そのことを伝えた上でのサポート対応です。）
結局やりとりに時間がかかって、返品期間を過ぎてしまいました。
返品ボタンが消えたので返品できないんですかね。
私見では過去最低のサポートですが、レビューでは評価が高いみたいですね。不思議。

ちょっと寂しい。
充電対応USB Type-CポートはPC本体の充電器を接続してドッキングステーション経由でPC本体を充電しています。
ここに接続したPC本体の充電器のケーブルを抜くとドッキングステーションそのものの電源が一度OFFになります。
PC本体の充電だけでなくドッキングステーションそのものの給電も充電対応USB Type-Cポートから行っているようです。
ドッキングステーションはすぐにPC本体から給電されて使えるようになりますが、有線LANは数秒の間、切断されるのでダウンロード中とかは注意が必要です。
バッテリー保護とかで常時PC本体の充電をしたくなくて、PC本体の充電器のケーブルを抜き差しする場合はドッキングステーション経由の充電はやめた方がいいですね。
充電器のケーブルを抜いた時の挙動は気になりますが、普通に使っている分には問題ないので★5です。

Macbookを買いましたが、usbの変換が必要ので、日常にはすごく不便を感じました。普段はよくファイルとか写真を転出しますので、本機を購入しました。前はアップル店舗で一本のハブを買いましたが、値段もそんなに安くないし、USBの口も一個しかない、デジカメのデータを転送するときはまだ足りないです。最近はネットでこのコンパクトなものを見つけた。ハブはいくつかのUSB口があります。データの転送も早いです。

動作については概ね満足ですが、一点だけ想定外のことがありました。
本機にHDMI + 有線LAN + Webカメラ + ヘッドセット + USBハブ(マウス + キーボード) を接続して使用してみたところ動作が不安定になりました。具体的には、オンライン会議を開始して接続されたUSBデバイスをフルに使用しようとすると、カメラ画像がおかしくなったり、ネットワーク接続が不安定になります。
推定原因は「全USBポート合計で 900mA を超えられない」という制限です。上記構成から消費電力が高そうなUSBカメラだけを外して、PC本体のUSBに直差しすると問題は発生せず。全てのUSBデバイスを本機に集約させようと思っていましたが、最大電流の壁は考慮していませんでした…。
全USBポート合計で 900mA はなかなか厳しい制限だと思いますが、このことは商品説明にも記載があるので、USBポートに多くのデバイスを接続しようと考えている方は最大電流も考慮することをおすすめします。
それ以外は特に問題もなく、満足できる商品です。
