We were recommended this product through the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis as a good seat for a child with DS. The seat back is taller than a Bumpo, and the tray is, too, which works well for a child with lesser muscle tone who may be unable to support herself without the higher back and tray. Cleanup is as simple as a wipe with a wet cloth, both the seat and tray. The whole unit can be strapped to a chair for even more stability though the base is pretty wide and we’re yet to have any scares. Good product, especially for an infant with lesser muscle tone.

We love this seat! Baby seems super comfortable and supported in it. We love that is provides healthier hip positioning and posture and that it can be used a variety of ways..we have a smaller home so we are going to be using this instead of a large, highchair that would be in the way and take up unnecessary space. 5/5 definitely recommend!

I use this on a chair at our dinner table. The only real complaint I have (which is a big one…) is the buckle. The bellies of my kiddos have to sit with their tummy right up against the buckle which can make buckling and un-buckling a pinching hazard every time.

If they had houses the buckle in the big stump coming out the sides or something this would have given this guy a 5 Star.

I LOVE that it’s a Canadian product and that it’s a better version of the Bumbo, but I hope they redesign that clip.. I wouldn’t repurchase until they changed that, but would be thrilled to repurchase if they did!

Proper ergonomics for my baby are WORTH the extra money!! She’s 4 months old and sits up perfectly straight in this chair. The tray is great for holding the suction cup toys I got to go with. It’s easy to get her out and put her in. I looked at all kinds of sit me up products and am so glad I chose this one.

I wanted to love this but I cannot figure out how to make it safe!

My daughter has been able to tip it and move it around since the first time she sat in it. She’s strong but not abnormally so, and she is well within all size limits. She can push herself back and make it too and she pulled forward and the entire chair tipped forward causing her face to hit the floor. It is slightly better with the tray but it’s essentially useless for us as a floor chair because she is not safe on it.

Again, wanted to love it but it’s just not safe for her.

I really like that this seat is good for my son’s posture. He has borderline hip dysplasia from being born breech and the bumbo seat would not be ideal. The upseat splays his legs far enough apart so that it’s helpful for his hips. The included tray makes it easy to line up his toys so he can play with them. We really love this seat for our little guy 🙂

My son always looked hunched over in the Bumbo and this seat alleviated that issue for sure. It’s now much easier to feed him in the Upseat. A lot of other great design improvements too! The tray is much more secure on the Upseat vs the Bumbo.

The quality is good but my baby is still struggling to sit upright in this chair. And a booster is needed because it is too low.

Great product I was debating to buy this or the other bumbo chair I recommend this one my son is still a little young at 14 weeks for this but I put him in once a day for about five mins to try and get him to work his core muscles and his back he also can lift his head up already for more then twenty mins and I had a dr recommend me to this so please make sure you get a dr recommendation to use if ur child is still to young to use I believe it is 5months old and up but I honestly love this product more then the bumbo chair the price was expensive but 100 percent worth your money !

This is a perfect seat for my baby she loves to explore and interact with people I had a different one before but the other baby chair just leave her slumped down at the floor level. The upseat sits keep her straight up. Also the tray is great doesn’t push her legs gives her some freedom to play with her toys.

So my daughter is 6 months and in the >99% in EVERYTHING!!! She will fit in the chair for another month or so… the tray does not fit. She seems to like it, def helps her sit up straight and have control of her core. But def not ment for all sizes of babies 😕 wish I would have bought it earlier.

This chair is great for correct baby posture. However no item is perfect, and having said that, the food tray that comes with the chair has a poor design. It easily is pulled off by the baby simply pushing it forward – no clips or attachments keep it in place. Once baby learns to push the tray forward and detach it, the game just begins. Would have been nice to have side clips or attachments to prevent the baby from removing the tray on their own.
Nonetheless, adjusting to eat without the tray and using the kitchen table instead makes baby feel part of the family.

A physiotherapist at the paediatric clinic I work at recommended this seat and I’m so happy with it! It feels good to offer seating that keeps baby’s hips safe. We will be using it as our highchair – perfect for our small apartment.
The materials are better than I expected (based on pictures) and I actually like the grey more in person than from the photos.
The instructions are clear and it is easy to put together. The tray is a wee bit difficult to secure when using on the floor rather than a chair but completely manageable and may be more related to my playmat.
I will definitely recommend this product to all my friends and family
