For some reason I expected it to be silver & made of some lightweight metal. I guess I must have confused it with one of MANY similar stands I saw on Amazon. The details of the product (in pictures) do show it to be white, but do not say what it is made from. It is white plastic, SEEMS well enough made for the price. As for how long it will ACTUALLY last, that remains to be seen in use. I do not intend to use it for ‘travelling’ since I will use it on a surface within very easy arms reach of where I sit watching tv/listening to music etc.
Being that I do not intend to use it for traveling, the weight is unimportant, since if it was four times the weight I would still barely notice it.
One thing to notice about SOME ‘lightweight products made for travelling’ is that the lack of weight MAY often also mean loss of some durability due to the material used.
I do not expect the ‘ratchet system’ to last very long, being made of plastic. I am hoping it WILL last a reasonable time, since I will not be adjusting it often (if ever) as the iPad Mini will be always used in landscape – so chargeable at same time.

The stand is probably smaller than what you’re imagining from the images. It’s certainly big enough to do the job though. We use ours for an iPhone as well as an iPad and Both devices work perfectly well. The angle of the stand is easily changeable and it has a nonskid surface. It doesn’t take up too much space on the kitchen counter when we’re using it for viewing recipes. That’s a big advantage over our other stand.

Loved the fact that it is so utile. I have used it to prop up books (not too thick) when reading, to prop up my iPhone for Zoom meetings, FaceTime or FaceTime audio calls (hands free) while sitting outside chatting with friends, and in my kitchen when following recipes. Very handy, and very multi-functional. Will hold an iPad as well but needs a bit more balancing to hold it while in bed. It is smaller than I expected it to be, but it’s very sturdy and has many angles to suit individual needs. Perfect device to have on hand yet, small enough to be put away without having to worry about space – fits easily in a drawer when not in use, but I have used it every day.

I was originally using my smart keyboard for my iPad but for some reason its not connecting now so an error msg keep poping up. I use my iPad alot so I needed a simple holder. This came in sealed in a box wrapped in plastic which I liked. Sometimes I’m skeptical to order things if it comes in a damaged box or used. In the box it was also in another plastic protector. The quality is decent to good. It clicks when you adjust the tilt. However I can see if you are rough with it, it may break (its plastic). For me it does the job perfect and now I can use this to mount my phone also.

This stand is bigger than most, allowing it to be used for tablets of any size – I use a 7.9in and a 12.2 in on it with no problems. The rear foot is full width, giving great stability and the retaining channel at the front is rubber lined and wide enough for just about anything. The stand can be adjusted to pretty much any angle and has just the right degree of stiffness not to move under load and give you the confidence it will continue to perform for years. This is an example of how right you can get something by just keeping it simple and functional.
Highly recommended – but can we have it in grey or black please? 🙂

The product it self does exactly what it is supposed to do.
For that I give it the 2 stars.
However value for money is shocking, it’s built out of cheap plastic with a hinge that feels like it will snap every time I use it.
I really do feel like I have been ripped off.
This is the kind of item you exspect to see on a market for £1 not the £8.50 I paid.

It has deceiving dimension. I bought this medium size stand because it says 18mm bottom dimension. It is commonly understood to be the inner diameter (or inner space at the base) as it is the one important to know whether a tablet would fit—especially those with casings of different thickness. But it is nowhere near 18mm. I measured it, it is more like 15mm. So my iPad with casing won’t fit and could not stand firm on it. It is sturdy enough for the price and could have been very useful had the dimension been right.

This stand is excellent. Although it is made of plastic, it looks really slick and stylish. It also does its job really well.
I use it to prop up my Fire HD 10 (2019) tablet in portrait mode. So far, it has been working well as my tablet has not fallen backwards during use. I have confidence when using it, and I feel that it will not fail while holding it up. This is a good thing as the Fire HD 10 is quite a tall tablet that could easily fall back on a stand of lesser quality. Obviously, this stand can also prop up my tablet in landscape orientation without issues as well.
Time will tell how durable the stand is, but the clicking action of the rotating mechanism feels sturdy.
Recommended.

A dream to use, sleek and not too shabby to look at. This is such a good buy that having found this in your searches you MUST buy it above all else. The smallest of settings does NOT stand up by itself but once you put the weight of a device into it it stands up flawlessly. I cannot tout this product enough. You simply have to use it to believe it

Sturdy plastic with soft rubber in groove and underneath for safe keeping furniture. There is lots of different angles which seem secure and just a simple click. I can stand my I pad pro 9.7 inch or A1673 in portrait or landscape mode. Very light very handy. Problem I had is my I pad is in a case the edge is no bigger than my thumb nail but it’s too wide to sit in the groove or cradle, if that is how to describe it. It just toppled out, I could take the I pad out of the case but that would take an age and I can’t be bothered. It is a very handy stand just wish the groove was wider. Great if yr tablet is not in a case.

This stand is exactly as shown but I thought it was going to be aluminum based on the shininess of the “chrome” in the web photos but alas, it is cheap brittle plastic 🙁 That being said, functionally it is great for using with my iPad almost anywhere. It is light and portable and easy to use. I just hope I don’t drop it if its cold or from too high up as it will be in pieces…especially if the back support panel is sticking out as it is thin and brittle (let’s just say if ice cube trays were made of this stuff every tray would be good for about a dozen cubes or so…once!) Worth getting…just be careful with it.

I looked at a lot of stands for my iPad, including a few in the $100 range, before settling on this one – mainly because of the portability, style and the other reviews attesting to it working well with iPads.
I have an 12.9″ iPad Pro and the stand supports it well in both landscape and portrait orientations. The no slip base works well and I can tap and type on the screen without shifting either the iPad or the stand. The iPad remains sturdily supported at all angles.

The case that I bought for my Samsung Tab S6 Lite is useless to hold my tablet in place, especially when using the touchscreen. I bought this stand to hold it in place when viewing anything or using the touch screen. It works like a charm.
Can be set at various viewing angles, easy to fold and carry around.
Good buy.
