This memory card is really far from its manufacturing specs, I got around 80MB/s instead of 100MB/s and 50MB/s instead of its rates 80MB/s. For the price it is still a really decent card. Speeds was expected to be slower than states as this is all a marketing strategy with most companies.
I have had a SP microSD card before and I had the product fail on me, tried to get their “lifetime warranty” replacement but I needed to pay for shipping, which will not only take time but will cost me money as the company is in the US, and I am from Canada

Got this for my nintendo switch and made sure to test the capacity right away (I’m not trying to download several games just to have them corrupted). It’s about 235gb free which isn’t exactly as advertised but I can’t say I’m unhappy with the product considering its price!
Nintendo switch runs a little hot but only for one game so I’m assuming it’s the game and not the sd card.
Either way, 9/10 absolutely recommend. Just make sure to test before using!! If it’s faulty or fake, amazon will likely send you a replacement in a few days.

This is a very competitive product. Out of 4 256GB MicroSD Cards, this is what I chose. It was the protections I need for traveling, the 100mb/s read speed for my Switch, and the price undercuts most of my choices. This is a series I would love to see have a 512GB version of, just in case I need to upgrade my Switch’s storage again. Silicon Power has this one in the bag.

The Newest Revolutionary 3D NAND SSD Drives now coming out cost an unreal fortune. Yet you can get “Almost” the exact same from a 128GB U3/Class10 3D NAND for about $25 Bucks and a 256GB 3D NAND Micro Sd Card for about $45 Bucks.! Compare that to the Same Capacity SSD’s Drive and it’s in a completely other world of Classification, Capability, Speed & Pricing.! Do a bit of research on the subject and you’ll come to the same conclusion I did. So, I now Exclusively Purchase the SP (Silicone Power) 3D NAND Micro SD Cards of 128GB & 256GB Cards because they blow everything in speed & capacity right out of the water..!. Plus they integrate wonderfully well and I haven’t encountered any of the issues others talk about probably (but can’t confirm), because they “Immediately Get Formatted As ”ExFat” With The Maximum Allowable Allocation Size Possible. Really, What’s a Couple of MB’s Compared to One or Two Hundred GB’s Worth of Card Space..? This consistently gets done the moment I receive them and long before they get slipped into any of my devices that get Up-Grades. However, I’d wait for the SSD Drives to drop significantly – which will be a while, so for now, invest in a “Top End HHD Drive” as these are now at their peek in quality, capability and capacity which you can now get at a fraction of the price such as some Brand Names (being at about $150 for 6 to 8GB on sale) and can aquire other’s massive data storage units dirt cheap. In conclusion, I’m sad to hear some folks having trouble with these little guys but I still have to Recommend them as they work flawlessly for me.
Enjoy…

Here’s test results:
Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
Writing speed: 50.7 MByte/s
Reading speed: 67.8 MByte/s

This is for the Silicon Power 128GB microSDXC card. I got corrupted photos after 2 separate shoots. Just 1 photo out of ~300 photos each time – not a lot but that not acceptable. Back to my regular 32GB cards and no problems anymore. I can only see myself using this card _perhaps_ for timelapses when losing 1 photo won’t matter much or just to store music for the car… but who know, I might lose them all – so it sits on my desk.

I’m a Samsung phone user, so I figured why not a Same Brand MicroSD card to go with it. But like everything else I buy on Amazon, I look at reviews before purchasing. I know a wide majority of positive reviews on Amazon are fake too, so it takes a good eye to spot the truth trough this mess. Most negative reviews about the Korean Giant Brand complained about the speed and reliability issues, One review in particular actually prove with a picture, that he received a fake S*****G MicroSD.
Silicone Power is the underdog here, but still a very good reliable brand. The fact that it is lesser known than the other Big name brand, makes it much less at risk of being counterfeit. I had it in my old phone and it never failed on me, so I do trust Silicone Power. I just needed more capacity, so that is why I needed to upgrade to 256gb. All thing considered, my final choice was to stay with Silicone Power.
Note: The listing bullet description on the Silicone Power UHS device incompatibility, is misleading. Only if you use an incompatible device the speed will downgrade. It really is 100MB/s & 80MB/s read & write speeds [U3/V30].
For example: My old 64gb SP MicroSD was a [U1 V10] , Transferring the content from one to the other was much faster than what I was used to. I know, 80mb/s write speed is in the best of condition. But the transfer window was showing speed close to that, I was really impressed.

Tested this SD card to verify it’s true capacity and speed because a lot of SD cards are fake. Here are some results:
– It’s actual capacity was 115.80 GB.
– The SD card max temp. was 48 C. (The tested lasted about an hour).
– It had a maximum write speed of 76 MB/s and a minimum of 19MB/s. The average write speed was 43.77 MB/s.
– Average read speed was 55.39 MB/s.
Great value for price IMO.
