This item states the computer is a model from August 2020. After setting it up and checking about this Mac this is from 2017. This is like bait and switch. Not happy. Bought this to replace a 2015 version of the same computer that just had hard drive failure just to learn the new one is only two years newer. Very disappointed.

The computer itself is fine. I have no complaints with it at all, other than the keyboard not having a numeric pad attached to it. However, it is not the 2020 model, as the advertising on Amazon would have you to believe. When I clicked on the Apple logo, and then clicked on “About this Mac”, I was surprised to see “iMac (21.5 inch, 2017)” when I assumed it was 2020. I called Apple, gave them the serial number to the computer, and they confirmed it was 2017. However, they also stated that there is IS NO 2020 model for this particular Mac. They also confirmed that the price that Amazon is charging is the same price Apple is charging, so at least I wasn’t getting ripped off. Just be warned ahead of time that this is the 2017 model.

Can’t get started unless you pay for Apple care. Apple scam. I downloaded all my old iMac info to a hard drive for transfer but it won’t let me.

Not a 2020 model. It is actually a 2017. Wrote to Amazon and they acted like there is nothing wrong with the misleading information. Apple is a great company, Amazon’s misleading information not so much.

The product works fine, but I bought this because it clearly stated “The New iMac” and in the info it says “first released, August 2020”. However, when About Mac clicked, it says it’s a 2017 model. Missleading information.

It comes with a keyboard and mouse. For some reason Amazon wants to try and sell you extra equipment you don’t need, as an add on. It also took way longer to deliver it. Thankfully Amazon did compensate me for my trouble
