This was bought as a Christmas present for someone that is in a nursing home. We tried many different radios and none of them worked well with the steel walls. This one works great with no fading in and out like we were experiencing with other ones.
The person it was bought for loves it and loves that she can listen to her CDs as well as the radio.
This product is a perfect size too. I was expecting it to be much bigger which was a concern for me since her space was limited. It is a very cute little system.

Bought this for my Mom to play mp3 compliations of classical music (instead of swapping CDs every 30-40 minutes). Sound is decent, the radio tuner is almost unusable (analog tuning, difficult to tune a specific station. Controls are small black buttons on a black background, not ideal for a senior with limited vision, but it does the job for a reasonable price (though I later found it $20 cheaper elsewhere).

Reproduce los cassettes bien, toca los cd’s bien. El volumen es limitado y bueno para espacios pequeños únicamente, no para espacios abiertos. En el que yo compre la entrada auxiliar tiene falso contacto y tengo que conectar y desconectar hasta que funcione.

I absolutely love this TV Boombox. Some would think that the 7″ screen isn’t very big. But for watching TV in my RV it’s perfect. Plays all my DVD’s and CD’s with no problem. The sound isn’t bad at all either. I can hear it fine about a third of the volume up and I’m deaf in one ear. Also it doesn’t weigh anything at all so it’s easy to carry it in and out of the RV.

The design was very nice- the unit was attractive but the sound quality was not that great.
We could not set the preset stations – on the first one. The second replacement was the same so we had to return another one.
I spoke with NAXA and they were very apologetic but did say the units were defective.

We use this to play old cassettes. Some CDs. The sound quality isnt as it used to be in the “good ol days”. But with the limited choices available this one was perfectly fine. It’s true as others mentioned the Record button is on the right end and you have to be careful that you don’t accidentally press it instead of the Play button. But altogether I would still have bought it. Be careful with the door of the cassette player. Sometimes needs a lil push to snap it close. I havent had the tape getting stuck (as yet). But it did stop playing and I had to take the cassette out.. manually stick my finger into the tape and then try again. It didn’t happen on our old player that died a year ago. But it could be because we hadnt used the tape in ages.

Nice to have an affordable CD and Tape player for the oldies at a reasonable price. I’m picky with sound and while this is by no quality sound, it does the job needed. It’s not awful quality either, but if you compare it to todays small Bose speakers it’s not at that level so it just gets 4 stars. No regrets.

Worth the price and never mind what people say, it work with tapes and cd, and the radio works perfectly also, I recomand this more then those Sony cd player that are between 80$ and up, watch the video

I spent a considerable amount of time reviewing the reviews of countless boomboxes. Many negative reviews. I was wary of newer products that tended to have fewer (of course) reviews, and that did tend to be more positive. Reluctantly bought the new model NAXA NPB-268. Everything works per the product description. Sound is good; both music and voice. Great value for the price. HELLO AGAIN. It is now three years later, and I wish to write that I have had no problems with this product, even after daily CD and tape playing.
