The cd skips every now and then, it wont read anything but store bought cd’s. But there is an input for outside sources, mp3 player works great on it. Its ok if you dont care for the quality, i use it for outside and weight room exercising. The tape recorder is great, there is a mic input, so you can make some voice recordings. Over all, its not the best but for what its used for it works. Good starter radio for kids. Radio stations come in clearly.

I fail to see how anyone could complain about this product giving us a CD player, a tape cassette player, a radio, and stereo speakers, for less than $75. I live (and cruise) on a boat so the maximum sound output is perfectly adequate. Certainly the tape cassette control buttons are rather small – but they work OK. The 12 volt option enables me to take the unit to beach party – and monitor a weather report.
What I don’t know of course is how long the player will last before breakdown – especially on a boat which tends to have a higher humidity than you folks living ashore. (Any electronic device doesn’t much like high humidity or salt water). If I get two years operation out of it I would be pleased – and promptly buy another!
In the meantime I can enjoy my old tape cassettes and CD’s I made in the days when we could easily do such things. Hard to beat the sound of bongos and Caribbean music, gazing at yet another gorgeous sunset while sipping a Tanqueray and Tonic with lot’s of ice. You should try that sometime.

Lorsque je programme la mini chaine stéréo sur fonction Cd ,je mets le cd ferme le couvercle , c est ok il tourne puis s arrête et sur l écran bleu au milieu est écris NO .Que dois je faire ? Dois je le Retourner ? Serais Remboursé ? Pouvez vous m en envoyer un autre ou un autre sorte meilleur qualité a prix similaire ,comme celui a $97.00 qui a les même fonction plus l ajout d une clé USB ????? Cela fait plusieurs fois que j essaie et il n a fonctionné qu une seule fois ! . Merci J attend votre message

Bought this to play at my hair salon….we’re open 4 days a week so it got very little use (5-6 hours a day). Two weeks after I bought it the CD player would stop playing at tracks 4 or 5 on every CD I tried. Not only is this product cheaply made, the sound is not good at all. Save your money for a higher priced better quality stereo.

This is the perfectly sized portable multimedia player with surprisingly good sound. Has it all – CD, cassette, am/fm radio. The detachable speakers have approx 4 feet of wire but can easily be modified to add more length if required.

My review of this product should not reflect upon Amazon except that they are selling a distinctly inferior product. I had purchased this product because I had also bought a set of old time radio programs. These programs are on cassettes and the NAXA Electronic machine was supposed to play cassettes. The play button would not stay in long enough the play one of the old time radio programs – it would pop out after only a short time no matter how hard I pushed the play button. I called Amazon and Amazon nicely sent another NAXA set and this one was somewhat better on playing the cassettes except that the rewind button did not take the cassettes to the beginning of the tape. I had also purchased another set of old time radio programs on CD’s. However, the NAXA machine would not play the CD’s! I have a small CD player and it plays the old time radio programs just fine and it also plays every other CD’s I have including The War of the Worlds recently purchased through Amazon. So I I have two NAXA electronic sets and one is completely defective on playing cassettes and the second one is sometimes defective on rewinding the cassettes. Also, neither one will play common, ordinary CD’s! I ordered this product thinking it would play both cassettes and CD’s and this product will effectively play neither. The only feature that works properly is the FM radio and that isn’t good enough to give this product a positive rating.

This product came with 2 right speakers instead of 1 left and 1 right speaker. The speakers were very light and felt like they would break so I returned it instead of exchanging it.

This product was advertised without a model number and so we assumed it was the top model offered and not the NP426 that we received. When we questioned what we received we were advised that we had received the one we ordered. Had we known it was the model NP426 that was being advertised we would have just ordered that at a much lower price and saved ourselves a considerable sum of money. To make matters worse the cassette part of this unit doesn’t work and we now have to find a technician who can repair it for us at our expense. So all around this was not a very good experience. We have always had good service from you in the past but are disappointed in this order. Marilyn Stevenson

The speakers are not uniform in sound. The operational aspect is cheap and sometimes you need to unplug and plug to get the unit to work and this goes on.
