The brush is superior to the sliding brush on the vacuum handle with spaced nylon bristles, in that it has a full ring of natural bristles and the head angle is adjustable to suit dusting needs. Plus, the struggle to lock/unlock and slide the built-on brush back and forth to its operating position was a little involved and somewhat of a pain.

Needed a replacement and decided to go for original manufacturers as other knock-offs tend to be worse quality and don’t last as long and the fact that the original that came with vacuum cleaner lasted many many years intil bristles worn down to the end…..
This new head is way way worse than original, bristles are way too soft and going inwards and partially blocking suction on medium speed.
On the other hand, the rotating part keeps coming off during normal use, never happened with the original that came with vacuum.
So it is totally useless and I’m still not sure is it well disguised knock-off and it looks like original ‘Miele’ product or ‘Miele’ dropped the ball in their quality department and still charging premium price for their products and spare parts.
Very disappointed.

The product is exactly as advertised; it’s a Miele replacement part. Good quality and fits with the Miele vacuum.

This brush can be swiveled in order to have two curvatures and fit into different corners as needed, the bristles are a little short which makes me think they might wear out easily but so far so good. Very good attachment, though as all things Miele a little on the expensive side considering it’s just a plastic vacuum brush.

The vacuum dusting brush seems to be one of those accessories that has a tendency to disappear in our household.
There are cheaper alternatives out there, but thankfully we can purchase these genuine Miele replacements parts at genuine Miele prices on Amazon! 😉
As stated in the description, this dusting brush fits ALL Miele vacuum hose attachments.
Therefore, whatever your model, just slide it on – it’s a nice tight fit. Lubricant not required. Just flick the switch and you’ll soon be running your fingers through those soft hairs…. having hours of suctioning pleasure again.

It’s a vacuum cleaner brush. Nothing much more to say than that. It replaced the one my dog chewed up.

Its a good product, but expensive overall for a vacuum brush. Not thrilled with the packaging, seller tossed it in a manila envelope and both pieces had fallen out of their boxes inside the manila envelope, but overall it made no difference. Bristles are soft, don’t scratch and gets into tight corners. It should be sold with the vacuum, its a piece worth having if you like to detail vacuum.

I bought this but am now having to send it back. The bristle layer is considerbaly thinner than the original which I now need to replace -to the point that it is not worth having when you expect the highest standards and demand the best. The item looks subtly different to the image shown and worse, different also to the image on the box it came in. The image shows the original tool with 4 position settings. The actual product only has two. This is a minor point but indicates that the delivered physical product delivered IS indeed different and hence may be why the ring of bristles is thinner. If the images were not misleading, I could have used this fact to hunt down the original tool. But I cannot do that. They are displaying the original and selling something different! I am sure this is illegal! I am sure it will work fine but I am not satisfied it will be as good as the original tool with double the thickness of bristles. I would shop elsewhere for this product. I have contacted spares@Miele.co.uk to query the discrepancy. I hope to update this review when I have some clarity.
OK: I can now confirm this product is identical to the one I purchased from Miele. However, it remains subtly different to the image shown, hence my frustration! It appears there has been a design change.
I have therefore moved my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. It is an original but diferent to the item shown in the pic (which has 4 position settings, redesigned tool only has 2 and a thinner layer of bristles).

This attachment is utterly useless and unfit for purpose as the moment you use it as a hoover brush the tiny piece of plastic that holds the head in one of two positions breaks so the brush swivels uncontrollably making the job of hoovering those hard to reach cobwebs impossible! I have so far purchased and got through 4 heads as you will see from the picture. All of them are useless now and a total waste of money.
I have brought this up with Miele themselves who said effectively “ tough luck love “ and go talk to Amazon as that’s where you bought it from and if you want yet another attachment then try getting one from us direct but it will only be under warranty when used under normal conditions and subject to wear and tear.. deep groan and very frustrated as thanks to Covid I have more time that I ever expected to stare at those cobwebs I cant reach and no job to pay for more useless attachments. Thanks Miele – not! Don’t buy!

This brush may say it is made by Miele but I have my doubts. It seems very cheaply made, the swivel section is so loose it moves on its own when you use it. I would not be surprised if it turned out to be a cheap copy. Not happy.
By the way, what on earth is “Sheerness”? I’ve been asked to rate this brush on sheerness. No idea mate.
