I love these measuring spoons so much! Probably one of my fav purchases from amazon. They are so cute looking. Two of the stainless steel spoons had a number of scratches on it, but other than that, I loved this set.
UPDATE: wow I couldn’t believe that one of the measuring spoons that I received from customer service in replacement of my scratched spoons, had stainless steel chipping off of the side. I didn’t think stainless steel could chip like that. I then inspected my other measuring spoons and found that they had rough edges to them, that I didn’t notice before. I hope they don’t chip as well, in the future. I’m disappointed. I really wanted to like these spoons because they are so cute. I gave three stars because customer service was so nice and resent me the replacement spoons, despite the one chipping spoon. It was also bent in a different way, that it didn’t fit well inside my already existing set:( I’ve attached a picture to show the peeling spoon, not sure if people can see the black line where the steel had peeled.

These look and feel really good. They have quite a bit of weight to them as well which feels good in the hand. Not sure about the material yet and if they’ll rust overtime. But initial thought was this is exactly what i wanted.

I had been looking for a metal set for ages as the the plastic do not last very long. But most of the ones I had seen in shops had a very sharp finish which put me off as I thought I was likely to cut myself. The good finish on these was important, a good selection of sizes and go in the dishwasher making them easy to clean. If I am being picky I’d say I was disappointed that their wasn’t 1/3rd teaspoon, but I just kept one from the old set.

I was looking for a spoon set similar to one I already have which is missing some of the measurements.
I didn’t like the set as soon as I touched it. But, here are the good and bad comments for you to consider.
Pros:
The measurements are etched on the handle of each spoon showing the size of the spoon and its equivalent in milliliters. I.E. one table spoon is 15ml.
In addition to the usual spoon sizes it has 1/8 tsp and 1/2 tbs. which show up in a lot of recipes.
Cons:
The set is heavy
The stainless steel is unfinished – not polished and no rounded edges at all. It is bad enough to touch that I won’t use the spoons. I don’t even like picking them up.
Sorry, but the cons are deal breakers for me.
I now have reservations about ordering smaller dollar items like this from Amazon. Too wasteful to return so I’ll end up donating them.

I have Teaspoons and Tablespoons of various sizes so measuring accurately was always difficult. These take the guess work out of the process. I use them for Cooking and Wine/Beer making so has one less hassle to contend with.
Just bought a set of Stainless Steel measuring cups from Morrisons for the same reason

These are great quality measuring spoons that will last a long time! I purchased this set of measuring spoons because I want to organize my kitchen and so I needed a new set which had holes for hanging on hooks. My old set is plastic and I am slowly replacing plastic with healthier materials. These spoons nest nicely inside each other. There are clear measurements stamped on the handles. The edges are all nice and smooth and upon trying to bend the sturdy handle, it did not flex with medium force. The holes at the end of the handle are a nice size so I can hang them on individual hooks. I am quite happy with this set because I feel they will last a long time for me. The box says they are dishwasher safe which is nice. They measure just over 4” in length. It comes with a D-ring to hold them together but I don’t plan on using it for that. My measuring spoons are quite nice and I had no issues with sharp metal edges or imperfections in the metal as one reviewer had. I’ve put them in the dishwasher and there has been no rusting.

…And in the darkness (of the kitchen drawer) bind them.
Yeah, that ring’s not coming off, which makes washing up a little awkward if you only need to wash one but they all have to come along… BUT in my case that’s probably their saving grace, seeing as how I’ve managed to lose every single measuring spoon I’ve ever had, except the ¼ tsp one from the last set and the blue plastic one that came with the plant food.
I can’t even blame the cat cuz i don’t have one.
Idk where they went.
Did they use themselves to dig a tunnel (from the top story apartment) and escape? We will never know…
But I have these now. Wish me luck 🤞

# this is a repost – somehow the previous review disappeared
I bought these several months ago and it’s been working fine. It’s not the best quality of stainless steel (for utensils or anything food related); however, it’s not the worst either (upon first look) and I don’t mind the [lack of quality] quality as long as it’s ‘safe’ (as they ALL should with anything related to food). Fortunately it’d came to my attention a few days ago when I was surfing the net about food safety which prompted me to take a closer look at these stainless steel spoons that I have, and the result was rather discouraging to say the least.
I bought these because of the variety in sizes and the fact they are supposed to have ‘one-piece’ stainless steel construction which I always prefer. My first impression was that they appeared to be lower-quality in terms of the finish than what I saw in the pictures. Several of them seem to have relatively sharp edges (or at least unevenly brushed edges); however, since I’m not going to put them in my mouth, I thought it’d be fine. The handle is just the right size and length for me and they aren’t awkward to use either.
After taking a closer looking look at the workmanship, specially the edges where they had been ‘processed’ (cut, polished, or abrasion etc), I was shocked to see just how terrible of a condition they were in. You can see just how badly the edge of the spoon is chipped (picture 1 to 6); it looks like the spoon had been grinding in sand or something in order to suffer that kind of damages on its edge. I’m pretty certain I received them like this and the thought of me using them and touching the food I ate for the last couple of months just made me sick to my stomach.
When closely (with a magnifying glass) looking at the chipped and peeled edges (as seen in picture 7 to 9), you can easily and clearly see that layer or layers of so-called stainless steel appear to have peeled off or in the process of being peeled off and separating from the spoon. I WONDER HOW MANY LITTLE PIECES OF METAL I HAVE INGESTED since then. From a different angle/perspective (picture 10 to 13), you can see that the spoon appeared to be wrapped around by another layer of the metal as if it’s made from layers of metal compressed together to form the final product we see. The first thing that came to my mind when I first saw it was “whoa, this is some plymetal! (i.e. from plywood)”. I’m not sure if this is just a bad batch of metal, issues/errors in the manufacturing process, or fake/sub-standard/really cheap stainless steel etc. In either case, I have NOT seen this before, especially for items that touch what I eat, and this will be thrown out.
Stainless steel, no matter the grade, can and will leach Nickel and Chromium over their lifetime; it’s only a matter of quantity. While I’m not fanatic about food safety or do I pay extreme attention to things related or surround it, I would however definitely respond (i.e. a reactive role vs proactive) to it if and when I find out about what’s wrong with these kind of thing around me or my family. In short, I don’t feel safe using these and they will be tossed away; the health of me and my family far outweigh the cost of a few cheap spoons. Your mileage may vary and I’d suggest you check and make sure these spoons are ok for you as well.

Good: Heavy good quality stainless steel. Has 1/8, 2/3 and 3/4 cup. Packs together nicely without having a loop. Silicon handles help keep your fingers cool even if boiling water in cup. Inside edges curved.
Stupid: Inside of cup is brushed making clean up a bit harder. Silicon handle and magnet slip off very easily and tricky to put back. Handles not sealed so have to be removed from time to time to clean inside which is very difficult. Missing 1/8 tsp and the odd tap sizes.

Second go at having this review published, lets see if this makes it past the censors.
Annoyingly had to send back due to wrong contents. Also from an environmental perspective it may look great being non-plastic and coming in a non-colour cardboard box, however, they then wrap it in a plastic bag and strap it with one of those ghastly non-reusable plastic fasteners. Overall very disappointing on something that should be so simple.
How is that? Pass? I am commenting purely on the product (just like my other review).

Definite improve from the pastic measuring spoons we used before. We got the seven pack including the ⅛ Teaspoon up to the 1 Tablespoon sizes and that has offered enough range to work well with all the baking and cooking projects we’ve used them for! They work well and store away nicely since they stack together and come with a ring to hold them all together so they don’t get separated and go missing. They are also very easy to clean!
