Less than an hour after I unboxed and installed this player, I wanted to chuck it out the window. And I might have done it had it not just eaten one of my discs.
Going online, found out that not only is this a common occurrence, but also that there is no physical mechanism for getting the disc back other than popping the two screws off the back and getting it yourself.
I’ve elected not to send the product off for “repair.” I thought it would be the responsible thing to do, but the long turnaround time and dodgy customer service rep I talked to convinced me otherwise.
Simply put, this thing is a lemon. The designers put all their time into the streaming options, and neglected the basic function of the unit: to play discs.
Mind you, the disc that was (since retrieved) stuck inside played great. YMMV.

Me agradó su bajo precio, es ligero y pequeño
El único contra que le veo hasta ahora (para el plus de tener wifi y apps), es que sólo soporta Netflix y Youtube, no soporta Prime Video o Cinepolis Klic (entre otras apps de steaming), me dijeron de LG que el modelo no era compatible con éstas aplicaciones, así que cuidado si lo que buscan es usar éstas apps, recomendaria en caso otro producto similar para SmartTVs

Doesn’t support all the apps it claims to. LG customer service sucks. When I told them what was happening they asked for the serial number then said sorry you are frustrated. Both LG and Hulu claim the device supports Hulu but it doesn’t . Then to make things better it randomly shuts off while watching other streaming services. Oh and if you pay for and extra channels via Amazon Prime Video (ie, ABC All Access) you can’t watch them on this device. It wants you to pay for each show separately. So frustrating!

I just got this in the mail the other day and it’s been giving me problems I’ll be watching a movie and all of a sudden something Will pop up that says settings and home on it when I didn’t do anything to make it pop up and I’m having trouble connecting to the Internet
