I have updated my rating but left my initial reviews below. There are two versions. An easily adjustable version and a heavier duty one. For my needs the heavier duty one is excellent. You adjust it and it does not move.
The easily adjustable version will not move once it is adjusted so long as you don’t touch it. So I can see if you have it somewhere safe and free of movement it would serve a purpose. Order the right one for your needs and you will be happy.

Below is my initial review, and I am providing an update today because I am impressed with the customer service for the manufacturer who contacted me directly to explain that the “easily adjustable” version is more flimsy than their more solid version, and to address my disappointment, they are replacing it with https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07S9JXQP2/

Here was my original review, which applies to the “easily adjustable” version.
Great phone clamp (5 stars) great base clamp (5 stars) really unstable and flimsy gooseneck. It will move if you sneeze. I reinforced mine with a microphone stand. Would be an outstanding product if the gooseneck was shorter and with a more stable rigid material that would not move with minor force and will not sink with gravity. I am going to keep it because the clamps are great and I have affixed it with cable ties to a microphone stand. This manufacturer would have an outstanding product if they can overcome the stability limitations of their gooseneck design.

Bought this in Jan 2020 for my teenage son. He used it almost every single day mounted on his headboard until it broke in Jul 2020. I took the gooseneck apart to see which piece got damaged and it was the joint that connects the upper part of the gooseneck to the phone holder (see my photo). The upper part of the gooseneck is the one that was constantly getting bend because it is more malleable and maneuverable than the lower part which is why it took much of the stress. The base clamp is thick and securely fastens to the headboard (see the thickness comparison between Lamicall and some other generic brand) so the entire gooseneck doesn’t slide off. The actual phone holder was also intact and grips the mobile phone (my son’s phone is LG G6). I was hoping this would last for at least 2 years but it didn’t.

It’s so easy now to shoot videos hands free with this holder. I just find a flat surface to mount it on and then the holder twists and turns in any way you want. It isn’t hard to set up and it can hold the biggest of biggest phones just as comfortably. Once you mount it in place, it is very stable and doesn’t fall off at all.

This, before it broke, was great! Very sturdy, strong… however, at the three month mark the upper part suddenly become limp and wobbly, just above the part that looks to me to be a connector of a thicker diameter shaft to the thinner diameter shaft. It almost seems that one could push the thinner shaft back into the coupler but I tried and nothing seems to help. Basically it’s useless now.
Edited: I just now decided to throw it away and so I opened up the plastic to reveal that the metal rod was broke (see pic). This device saw no abuse. I just used it in a way that one would expect to be able to use it.
Edit: the company read my lowered rating, reached out to me and said they would send me a new one! This new one doesn’t have the transition piece and so I suspect it will not break in the future. This is back to being a great product! I’m thinking Christmas gifts now for extended fam and friends! I bumped this phone holder back up to 5 stars!
Update: 6 months later (5/12/2020) and this thing is still great! I bought 4 more at Christmas and kept two, one for my office and one for the kitchen.

I loved this phone holder when I first got it and used it almost every day but it broke after 4 months. The neck of it just snapped clean through when I was turning my phone horizontally. I don’t understand how since there’s metal on the inside. It seems like you can’t adjust the neck too much because it’ll eventually break if you bend it back and forth too much.

It was sent in good time (before expected delivery) and was exactly as it is described. Perfect for mounting your phone in the kitchen to use it for a recipe, or in bed to watch a movie and it works really well for mounting the phone to take video calls. Love it!!

This works great. Remains steady after adjustment. The holder has decent stiffness, but not difficult to adjust. The clamp on the bottom of the holder works very well and is easily adjusted. I’m even considering buying another one.

It’s new. I can’t speak to how sturdy it will be. After a week it seems to be of high quality for something made of plastic.
Connection clamp grips well and the phone holder seems to have a strong spring unlike other models that I have used. I have several products from this brand name and they all perform well and seem to be built with quality materials. I would recommend this product to anyone that is in the market for such a device.

Product has been great for me for mounting my phone as a webcam. I will say if your desk (or whatever you are mounting this product to) has ANY wobble it will be very noticeable. So it’s best to mount to something that is stable and you aren’t touching. Even the slightest touch will make this thing wobble. This is not a flaw of the quality of the product, just the design.
The actual mounting piece is very study, the arm is bendable & long. I don’t think it’s designed to keep bending in various positions. Over time, I could see it snapping if I were to do that.
Works great — quality is good for the $ and the clip is large enough for almost any phone.

This is great! It’s very sturdy and the clamp is perfect to help adjust it to the surface. – I’m glad it’s not a suction! I just received it and have no issues so far, I hope that the quality remains the same over time but we will see. So far, this is fanastic!
