I opened a bunch of cans to make some chili. The very first one, I’d put the opened on the edge the way I’m used to (almost parallel to the top of the can). I’d close it and the blade went through, but I couldn’t crank it. I tried again, this time the opener is perpendicular to the top of the can, and it went smoothly. I did all 4 cans this way with no issues. It’s on the expensive side but I like the color and the handle are huge and comfy, no issues even with wet hands. It also feels pretty sturdy. I’m happy with it.

The last Kitchenaid opener I had was still going strong when it disappeared during a move. Hopefully this one will pick upwhere the other left off. Can’t really vouch for durability as I’ve only had it a couple of months but my other Kitchenaid products have always lasted a long time. Bought the pistachio colored one as I don’t get paying an extra five bucks for a black or red one. Lots of coulours to choose from !

Pretty good can opener. It destroys the lids of the Chunky soup tins that gave my cuisinart trouble. However the blade is not replaceable and it’s made in China. So it scores low for environmental sustainability.

Absolute garbage. Doesn’t work at all, it just mangled the can, can’t even open it. I don’t know if I got a faulty one or what, but I tried it twice and my return window closed early, so review it is! Save your money.

Finally, I have a can opener that works! I was frustrated with the last two I bought at the grocery store, even with higher price points. And then, a bit hesitant to order one ‘unseen’ on line. I bought the turquoise color so it wouldn’t get lost in the drawer. WOW! A real sharp blade, precision cutting and nice big ergonomic handle; you can use this with wet hands. AWESOME!

El precio es elevado en comparación con la mayoria de las otras marcas pero funciona perfectamente. Los materiales y acabados se ven de muy buena calidad. Lo he usado poco por lo que no puedo evaluar la durabilidad.

I have only used it twice, but so far this is the best can opener I have ever used. Our electric can opener broke a couple of weeks ago and our manual can opener was a piece that couldn’t open a can. So I had to order something, this one is so good and the color (pistachio) is so nice.

I cannot work out how the review rating is so high. It is totally useless. I nearly cut myself several times whilst trying to open a small can. Most reviews actually are similar to mine so I do not know where the high rating comes from??

It’s actually larger than how it appears in the picture. It punctures easily and rotates with little effort. Normal sized cans are a breeze.
Lid edges are not jagged.
Only issue is that cans of tomato paste are difficult to open.

el producto ES un fraude lo compré por $584.34 pesos mexicanos abrí una lata súper sencilla y batallé muchísimo para que funcionara, al lavarlo vi que se oxidó en 1,2 x 3, no lo compren.

What a disappointment for an expensive can opener. Skips on several spots on the can. Had to use knife afterwards to open the can completely. I returned it immediately.
