The first time it was shipped to me, it was missing pieces, so I had to return and get a new one.
The new one is fine, but the large piece at the back (c), is held together by tape? And you need to pin it to the assembled frame using hammers, which I don’t have. I tried to use a screwdriver to hammer the pins in (the back piece has no holes), and it was disturbing my neighbours. I gave up and I just put it against the wall. Otherwise, it is quite sturdy and nice looking.

There’s a reason none of the promotional photos show a full shelf. Weight limit is 20pounds. The wood is not very dense and not useful if you have a lot of hard covers or want to have two rows of books per shelf. It looks nice but you get what you pay for. It is more of a displaycase as opposed to a bookcase. When you put in the screws the wood is not dense, you barely feel it biting…

Very cheap wood, Only screwed together with standard wood screws, which if tightened will easily strip the threads.
No covers for the screw heads which will protrude because you cannot tighten enough to sink the heads into the wood. Quite unstable when assembled.
Extremely cheap veneer and wood even at this asking price.

I have bought others like this at the store, and those are much more sturdy. You have to get ever screw in properly, and very securely, or it is wobbly, and too unstable to take the weight of books. I worked in an academic library for years, so I understand stacking. DO NOT buy to completely fill with books. It will not hold them.

I bought this shelf for my DVD collection when it was on sale, and it was exactly what I was looking for! For others who may be wondering, it comfortably fits 38 DVD’s per row, for a total of 114 if you’re not stacking any on top of each other. If you’re looking for a bookshelf, it will only fit medium to small books. It’s fast and easy for one person to put together, I did it by myself in about fifteen minutes.
Edit: I bought this shelf when it cost around $35. I wouldn’t pay $80 like it’s listed at now, the quality isn’t good enough for that price.

This bookshelf was grest for a small corner. Its deep enough for a single row of books and a natural height. The finish may not be a thick one but for the price it still lools good. The assembly was easy for me but mroe complex than Ikea because of the traditional hammer on back pannel. The back pannel itself folds and was slightly misaligned from the factory on my unit. An easy fix with a knife and packing tape. Ovetall good just don’t expect to hold anything heavier than being full of pocketbooks.

Good small bookcase. Easy to assemble. Only thing is for the price, I would have liked a better quality then this. It come with the very basic for a bookcase. Shelves are not adjustable, pre-drilled hole for the screws are hard to find, and you don’t even have little stickers to hide the screws. I was expecting something better for the price paid.

I was surprised by how nice these turned out. You have to put them together yourself and it claims you need two people but I easily put it together on my own. They are perfect for my small apartment and fit my 80 odd books with room for 10 more. They are sturdy and the finish on them would go with any dark furniture you already own.

I first bought this on the18th June 2020. as it worked for some my Singles collection, I thought I would buy another one on, Delivered 15th Jan 2021 as you can see when it arrived the CHEEP BS Haven’t even put a backing on the underside of the shelf, the result will be that it will let moisture into the cheep shelf, it will probably get sent back, and I will NOT be buying another one.

Besides the quality of this bookcase being very bad (many scratches, detns, chips and uneven paint), the biggest issus is arised after I built the bookcase. the actual size of the bookcase does not match the measurements stated on the picture of the item page. In the picture is it stated to be 57.7 in but in reality is 60in. This bookcase will not fit in the space it was intended for and now I need to return it as it is no use to me.
