I love that they are collapsible, colorful, different sizes, made of quality material and very
sturdy!
Not a dislike, more of product improvement to make it more useful. If the products handles were extendable, it could be hands free. The colander I have that has a handle and I place the handle on one side of the sink and the other on the strainer (since I have a country sink) or else it would be on the middle piece of a normal dual sink.
Used for lots of items: pastas (of course), fruits, vegetables, powdered sugar over cakes (worked wonderful)

UPDATE: these are now 7 months old. I don’t use them out of the ordinary, maybe every couple of days. I find they’re coming apart at the seams where they collapse. I wasn’t expecting them to start failing after only a few months, so I’m very disappointed in the quality of these. I’ve reduced my stars from 5 to 3 to account for poor durability.
I bought these to replace my mismatched strainers that I’ve had for years. These are awesome.
The colour is great, and they collapse into each other for easy storage. We sue them almost daily to wash fruit or drain spaghetti, and they’ve held up beautifully. I wash them in the dishwasher if they need it, or just rinse them after if they’re clean enough. Perfect for storing fruit in the fridge.
Part of my kon Mari decluttering – the strainers definitely give me “Joy” when I use them!

The collapsible colanders are just the right side for a small pot of spaghetti or pasta for two. Once collapsed, they store in a corner taking up minimal space.

I haven’t tried these as of yet . I specifically wanted them for our travel trailer as we have limited space. These fold flat , are stackable and take up less space than a conventional colander / strainer . Nice that these can be stored on their sides as well . Hope to put them to the test next summer .

EDIT: Removing 2 stars. After 10 only months usage, colander is cracking at bending points. Will need to replace it with a stronger product.
This duo colander set is ideal for many kitchen tasks. I use the smaller unit to rinse veggies/fruits/ berries. The larger colander easily fits one pound of cooked pasta (454g).
They are easy to clean manually or through the dishwasher. I’m happy with my choice.
Both take little room since they are collapsible.

I wanted colanders that folded for storage purposes so I ordered these. When they arrived there was a very strong plastic smell to them which over time (we’re talking many months) and through several washes has taken forever to dissipate. It was a little concerning. The areas where the fold is are beginning to wear from use. While I expected this would happen, it’s occurring faster than I thought. Do they do the job? Yes, they strain items quite nicely but i’m not sure I would get them again.
**Edit: The plastic smell dissipated but never disappeared. The smaller one, which I also use more often, has now split. I am aware this is something that can/will happen with this type of item but it split far quicker than I expected it too. A good idea yet a cheap product.

My son has celiac disease and multiple food allergies. To ensure that no one in his shared kitchen uses his kitchen equipment, we made his kit out of only red items. These colanders are great. They are bright red and collapse to next to nothing. The space saving is much appreciated. I was surprised by how sturdy the colander is when unfolded.

These are nicely shaped and handles are good; however, the material is very stiff … difficult to open when collapsed. Silicone is not of the quality of others that I have used in the past. Would keep looking if you’re looking for a professional quality collander/strainer.

I got these colanders to put in the camper to save space and we really like them. We actually brought them in the house and that’s what we use all the time now. They collapse to fit in the cupboards to save space perfectly.

Did not look half as good as the picture posted. Quality of plastic and silicone looked cheap and the price does not fit the product. Going to visit a home furnishing store and purchase one of those truly nice quality collapsible sets I’ve seen a couple of months ago.

Great idea, however after a couple of months the rubber was cracking and pieces were coming off. Save your money unless she won’t be buying them every couple of months.

We have used these daily for almost two years, but realize the limits of the plastic. The collar and bottom appears to be HDPE or similar, which will melt. The silicone collapsing bellows is certainly silicone. Its maintained its color as new, (red) despite all silicone products fading in UV. (sunlight)
These are great not only as strainers, but we use them as a bowl for fruits and as a splatter cover in the microwave. The two sizes cover typical plate sizes and the ability to adjust the height avoids mixing up the food. It is well made compared to a plethora of other Silicone products in the market and holds up to its intended use. We store them hanging or other times folded on top of the microwave.

We’ve had these for quite a while and they’ve stood up decently. They were smaller than expected but still work well for our family meals (2 adults/2 kids). Love that they collapse and are easily stored. Clean up decently in the dishwasher.
