Have RX100, and previously used Tamrac 3821 case, which was an extremely snug fit. Spare batteries and SD cards had to be carried separately, which were often left in the car when needed! The AmazonBasics case, with its small but practical front pocket, appeared to fit my needs. Based on dimensions alone, the smaller case ought to have been suitable for a RX100, but I went for the larger case as numerous reviewers had complained that the actual cases were somewhat undersized.
The case itself may not have quite the quality of the Tamrac, but equally it certainly does not look cheap; in fact it is very attractive. It is well padded. Size wise it suits the RX100. There is clearance whilst still offering adequate camera support, an ideal situation especially as the camera is now fitted with the Sony AGR2 attachment grip, and I have the Kiwifotos add-on lens filter adapter ring which I have yet to use. (Note the small case is 0.8” smaller in width hence can understand the tightness criticism when used with a RX100 model). The zipped front pocket is excellent, large enough to hold two batteries and two SD card cases.
All things considered, I am very pleased with the purchase, which represents excellent value.

I use this for my Lumix TZ-70 and it fits snuggly. The secondary compartment is big enough to hold 3 additional batteries and the belt buckle comes in handy if you want to attach this to a belt, photography bag or shoulder strap.

The shoulder strap that comes with it is pretty feeble and the buckles are plastic. Not sure how long that will last but to be honest I don’t use that strap much.

The bag has adequate padding. My only real concern is that if you have something in the small compartment and you have a point and shoot camera with a built in lens cover mechanism then there is a risk of pressure being placed on that lens cover and causing it to open or bend when the camera is inside. I do not think that is the fault of the bag but it is something to be aware of if you are going to use it with a larger point and shoot.

Great little case for my Sony RX100m4 – it fits perfectly, alongside 1 extra SDXC card, and three supplemental batteries. All of this makes a tight fit in this case, but I added a Sony grip on the RX100, so without it, it would be just fine.

For the price, I recommend this case – the finish is just as good as large brands (like Optex, or the camera brand cases), and costs a fraction of the price.

Anything larger than a Sony RX100 or Canon S110 will not fit, so better buy the larger version of this product.

Bought the medium. I was hoping it would fit my sony DSC-W800 Camera, and it did. But i was very happy as it unexpectedly fits my canon cool pix which is significantly larger than the sony, and is a large point and shoot camera. They both fit with room and it also feels like a quality item. There is an extra zipper for other stuff as well My ti, like wires or something. My tip would be not to attach the strap to it, but rather, get a d-ring or carabiner clip, which are those kind of odd shaped clips you get from the keychain rack etc… (see my pictures). anyhow, get a clip and push it open and insert it into the loop at the back of the case. so now you can just clip the camera case to your belt loop, without having to carry it around you back like you wold with the strap. My phone has a very crappy camera, so i attach this to my belt loop when i walk the dogs so i can get good pictures etc. it could also hold my keys as well as doggy bags easily, making less stuff in my pockets in warm weather when i dont have a jacket. This item is bang on and i am very very very happy that amazon has provided me the value that i would want and expect. thanks!!

This is a very nice, very small, padded case for smaller cameras and GoPro-type action cameras. It is just large enough to hold a camera the size of something like a Canon PowerShot Digital Elph, but it is much too small for larger cameras like a Canon G7X. The little pocked on the front is just the right size to hold a memory card or two, or possibly a spare camera battery.

I’m not impressed with the appearance of the stitching at the ends of the front pocket zipper or across the back belt loop. They are all a very messy zigzag that, quite frankly, makes the bag look cheap and poorly made. However, the nice orange lining and finished seams show that some care was taken in the design and construction of the bag. I think that this is a good little bag to use on vacation (which is how I am using it) but I’m not sure the at sewing on the belt loop would stand up to everyday use over a long period of time.

i measured my camera and checked the dimensions of this case and everything should have been perfect but this case was too small. Measurements are off. Had to return and buy the large size. I recommend skipping this and going for the large straight away. My camera is a Canon G7X Mark ii

This case is quite deceiving. The picture gives the illusion that it is much bigger than it really is. I bought the large case and an average point and shoot camera just fits. My Fuji camera has little room to spare. If I had bought the small there is no hope the camera would have fit. There are better cases out there but not at this price. Recommended for those on a tight budget.

As others have mentioned, the size stated on the product page for the AmazonBasics Large Point and Shoot Camera Case is incorrect. The product page states the case’s external dimensions as 4.3″ x 1.9″ x 6.1″ (LxWxH). The actual external measurements of the case I received are 3.5″ x 1.9″ x 5.6″ (LxWxH). Internal dimensions of the main compartment are approximately 3.25″ x 1.0″ x 5.5″. The smaller front compartment measures 2.75″ x .75″ x 3.75 – 4.0″ (the top is curved) with a small flat pocket in the inside of the front flap. Other than being smaller than stated it’s a nice, well-constructed case. The case material seems to be tough and high quality while still being nice to the touch. The zippers are good quality and work smoothly. The seams and stitching are consistent and really well done. The semi-rigid soft padding on the back side of the main compartment is about .4″ thick and should protect a camera nicely as should the nice orange polyester lining. There is a thinner layer of padding between the main and small compartment as well. There is a full height, heavy duty strap on the rear of the case for attaching to a belt or for a smaller hand so slide behind as well as two small D-rings sewn on at the top of the case back for the included shoulder strap which is adjustable from 26″ to 48″ long.

Bought the large case. Just received it, looks like a very good product. A little large for my camera but the medium size would have been too small. Wish they had different colours. The zipper slot is great so extra wires, etc, won’t fall out. The back has a sewed in strap so you can attach it to your belt. Great price!

4 stars given as the dimensions given on the website were very confusing. So I bought it as trial and error – so happy it fits my camera!
So, if you are confused with the dimensions listed on the website as I was, here are the approximate measurements that I had taken:
NB: L = vertical dimension (length)
NB: W = horizontal dimension (width)
    NB: D = depth dimension
    Internal Dimensions: 5.3 x 3.3 x 0.9 inches (LxWxD) or 13.5 x 7.5 x 3 cm – of the large space to hold the camera slot
Internal Dimensions: approx 10.5 x 5.5 x 1 cm (LxWxD) – of the small space to hold SD cards and extra batteries slot
    External Dimensions 5.5 x 3.75 x 2.3 inches (LxWxD) or 13.5 x 9.5 x 6.5 cm – of the whole case (including both slots)

    Hope this helps 🙂

So this with next day Prime delivery was under £7… Total bargain..
I went for the large and I am glad I did I have the Canon G7x mk 2 and it fits with room but not loose. There is a small side pocket easy to fit the USB and a couple of extra cards. I cut the annoying large label out as its in the way.
    Nothing negative for the money

The bag is well made and worth the money but unfortunately i bought the wrong sized bag ” Medium ” which is too small for my Sony Cybershot RX 100 M3 when in fact i should have bought the bag in size ” Large ” 100% my own fault and i will probably buy the proper sized one after i get over being P***ed Off with myself for picking the wrong size bag, I never noticed the bag came in two sizes so like i said it’s my own fault

It’s the simple things that are hard to get right because nobody seems to care. Everything is getting more complex. If it doesn’t have a chip in it and talk to Alexa it’s almost not worth a look. But hey, have a look at this great design: zippers that work easy. Padding that protects well. A strap that is secure. Even a belt latch if you accept that soon you are a grandpa and can wear that. But jokes aside, this little gem of a product is a showcase for Amazon’s success: they care for their customers. They don’t run large scale customer first advertisements, they just make sure that every experience is positive. It may be only a £10 item. But the quality is higher and it is more functional and it will work better than £100 leather cases. I bought this for my £1000 RX100 VI. Because I wanted the best and not the most prestigious looking or expensive case. I like my camera. I chose amazon basics to keep it safe. Thank you Amazon 😉
