Great holder if you have kids and don’t want them picking up the echo dot and taking it all over the house.
Bought two. One black and one white. Both are the same good quality and ease of installation and use.
Would definitely recommend this to others.

I now have 3 Echo/ echo dots. They are great when they work, but they frequently have random issues. This week I’m ready to throw them out the window and app support seems to have disappeared, where it was great initially. Play everywhere group doesn’t work with Spotify though voice activation all the sudden, whereas it was playing fine and works if started through the app or computer. Alexa has stopped responding to some requests randomly as well. I’ve spent hours this week resetting everything several times, updating and re-installing apps, still doesn’t work. Super frustrating and waste of time rather than creating efficiencies! Beginning to regret my purchase! Get it together Amazon!

I have not installed it yet, thinking I might return it…because it’s pretty basic and not sure it actually makes a difference if I leave on table or hanging on the wall , it still shows with wires…????I guess I’m undecided whether I want it or not..more trouble to return as it stands.

Well it has been almost a decade since I had music in my bedroom when I had a CD player that played all night. So with my recent adventure into revamping my house into an Alexa Smart home buying everything Echo – Echo dot, Echo Show, Echo Sub, Wyze cams, I am adding adding stereo music back into my bedroom and I needed a way to mount my pair of echo dots to my nightstand so that it doesn’t clutter up my nightstand table. It took me a while to decide as tt was either these sideway hanger holder stands or the ones that holds the Echo Dot like a platter and I chose these because it looked more like a speaker set rather than an ear growing out from the night table. I was concerned that the screw would go right through to the other side of my ikea nightstand but there is a shelf inside the nightstand of which I screwed the hanger holder stand at the same height. No measurements nor double checking where to mount the hanger holder stands. All winging it by feel and thus the hanger holders were mounted with hope that my OCD wouldn’t see an error later on when I head for bed and thus waking me up for the rest of the night as I try to fix it. Anyways with the holders mounted, wires tucked away behind the hanger holder stand and the echo dot inserted, the whole hanger holder stand with Echo dot looks like a pair of spaced out speakers. I have yet to receive my Echo Sub (sold out and arriving in late November) which will be placed inside one of the nightstands. I love my little Echo stereo speakers. Not the greatest sound quality but at very low volume for sleeping to add some music to my REM sleep dreams, I think they are wonderful. One of the reason that I did not mount the speakers to the Wall is that I live in an apartment and I believe the shared wall next door is another bedroom of which I don’t think they want music all night; thus the mounting of the Echo Dots to my nightstand. Lastly, music coming from behind your head when sleeping is a little bit disconcerting. So get these for your Echo Dot Stereo music system mounted on a nightstand. Highly recommended.
