Humble Crew Kids’ Toy Storage Organizer with 12 Plastic Bins, Espresso/White

This is an ok toy bin thing. I feel i paid too much, but they’re all around the same price on the market. mine came damaged at three or 4 places, so i got the parts replaced with another item so we’re good. it holds a decent amount of toys and looks nice, but for some reason, i expected different. our playroom still looks unorganized! LOL

We like to keep toys not only in my son’s room but also in the living room. The toy boxes worked well when he was little, but by the age of 5 our previously very nice living room had started to look like a gypsy camp. We had looked into all kinds of cubbies and shelving from Ikea and different furniture stores but nothing was right. After reading all the reviews for this item I decided to go for it – and it’s absolutely perfect for us! Shipping was fast, assembly was easy, great quality. I ordered 2 to fit everything (except books), as some of the toys are rather bulky.
Our living room finally looks neat again, and the best part is that all the previously forgotten toys are being played with again.

An excellent childrens’ toy organizer. I wouldn’t say that it is built like a tank, and I wouldn’t want my kids climbing up it, but it’s not wobbly and from being used daily by a toddler and pre-schooler it has shown no signs of wear. We got this mainly to teach and encourage our children to clean up after themselves.

-Stand
The “wood” material is MDF and anyone who’s purchased furniture before should be familiar with this type of material. It isn’t meant for long term use and doesn’t hold up to moisture well. The “wood” is covered with a glued-on veneer like material that is plastic. I don’t see this product as a long term solution but since I’m sure our girls will grow out of it within two years of usage, it may not be an issue. It’s sturdy enough but if your kids tend to climb these things, the sturdiness could degrade rather quickly. The dowel rods screw into each end so if you screw them tight enough, it may help a bit.

The dowel rods are made of what I believe is aluminum so don’t expect them to be very strong. Again, if you have little climbers they will most likely bend them out of shape.

-Storage Bins
The bins are made of a thin plastic that isn’t very good quality. The instructions warn you not to put them into the dishwasher and for good reason-they’ll most likely warp from the heat. If you set this organizer in direct sunlight all day, I’m convinced the sunlight may warp them as well. Ours came chipped in some corners so be aware if you order one.

-Overall
It serves it’s purpose which is to work as a single collection point for our kids toys and help them learn to be organized. Ours came with a bit of damage to the bins as well as one of the “wooden” side panels. As long as you’re not looking for a long term solution for organizing your little ones toys and they don’t climb it, you should be ok.

-Conclusion
It is what it is, you’re going to get what you pay for.

Arrived very obviously damaged. The box wasn’t, so whoever packed it knew it was broken. The only reason I bought another is because I was adamant on it matching my other child’s.

Update: The second order was worse than the first. Caked with dirt and mud, holes scraped on the sides, boxes broken.. never again! This company is awful.

Easy to assemble! My husband and I were able to put this together in under ten minutes without fighting and despite our two year old trying to chew on the bars. I’m impressed with how sturdy the structure and the bins are. The colour is a nice match with the rest of our furniture and our son is getting on board with this concept of picking his own toys up now that he has clear ideas about sorting them into the different bins.
