This is so important to avoid hurting your neck. You don’t have to move your head down and forward to see your screen. It’s ergonomic and natural. Also your buddies don’t have to see up your nostrils when you zoom. Also if you are a leftie, raising your computer means your hand doesn’t get caught in the wires that plug in on the left side of your laptop.

I like this unit. But I have issues with the base not sitting firm on my table. When I type my laptops shifts and tilts side to side. This type of unit should be more stable than some of the dual arm units I have seen, but for me, it is not.

Does exactly what I wanted. Don’t understand where some have stated that it scratches your laptop. First your laptop has padded foots so nothing touches the base and the front lever is padded. Also that it shakes while typing. Unless you’re banging on it, I have had no problem. That aside, I found it to be of good quality, well built, nice looking and with multiple levels it brings your laptop to an ideal height.

Bought this for my cabin cubby hole office and it works perfectly. See pic! That is my laptop resting on the angled stand. I now have more work space and my monitor is at eye level. Very happy with my purchase. Wish I had this a few years ago.

What I like about this stand is it is comfortable on your lap since the bottom is mesh instead of bars like some laptop stands. It weighs more than other stands, if that is an issue for some people, but is very sturdy. You can even put it all the way down to a flat position and still have enough room to circulate air and your laptop stays cool. It was on sale for $10.94 when I bought it, so it was a great bargain. Overall, I like it a lot. Definitely recommend.

Pros:
Cheap
Great airflow
Lots of height options
Cons:
Not the sturdiest
Several parts needed to be bent into proper shape
I’m using this for my Omen 15-dc0xxx as I was experiencing overheating issues when playing certain games. The feet on this laptop are about 9″ apart on the depth and 13″ on the width at the furthest points, and it fits just about perfectly on this stand (some spare depth, but my width is right at the edges of this stand). Also, the height of about 3/4″ is perfect for the front lip of the stand, as it is exactly flush (the lip is exactly 3/4″), so it doesn’t rub on your wrists as you’re typing. If you have a shallower laptop, the lip might be annoying to type with as it will likely stick above your laptop face.
As for the build quality, it’s about what you’d expect for the price and wire frame. Several areas needed to be bent into shape to get the main platform flat so there was no rocking as I typed, and the bottom plate needed to be flattened as well so it wouldn’t rub on the surface below (tried to show how little clearance there is with the attached “feet” – they’re just felt pads). However, after these bends, I am fairly happy with it. It does shake a tiny bit while typing, but it’s not like you’re in an earthquake. However, if you want a perfectly solid stand, this probably isn’t the one for you.
As for airflow, this is about as good as it can get for a stand. Even with the stand completely flattened, there is still a ~ 3/4″ gap below. I replaced the thermal paste at the same time as I got this, so I cannot say how much it would help someone else with the same laptop, but the difference between placing my laptop on this vs. a flat surface is about 5 degrees Celsius on the CPU currently (runs about 74 with, about 78-79 without).
Not sure about the longevity of this, as I’ve only had it about 3 weeks, but it seems like it should be fine as long as you aren’t putting lots of pressure on it. If you plan to travel with it, I don’t think this would be great as it could get bent in your luggage or bag.
Overall, I am very happy with it in its current state. Removing 1 star simply due to the bending required which shows the build quality, but other than that, it seems like a great stand, especially for the price. If you have a laptop with the same or very similar dimensions, I think you’ll enjoy it as well.

Functional stand. Lightweight. Multiple angles of display possible. Great for working from home. Videoconferencing etc.

It’s nice and easy to work with but beware if you connect it to a second screen and any of the metal part of the wire (usually at the insertion point of the laptop or connecting wire) you could get a an electric shock (minor, but I did).

Does its job well for a good price. No issues. Ergonomic and helps keep your laptop cool. Light and portable.

This is awful. It’s not steady and shakes with each keystroke.
Also, the lip to hold the laptop on is too high for modern laptops, and sticks up about 5 mm on my laptop. The resulting ridge digs into your wrist.
Look elsewhere.

It functions alright. It’s a laptop stand, not hard to design or construct. However, due to the mesh bowing/flexing, the bottom mesh will sag, thus scratch table top if it’s delicate. The padding they placed on the corner couldn’t help the issue. I may have to find a padding to stick to the middle to fix this.

Great laptop stand. I also have the similar Amazon Basics stand. I love both of them. They are each built a little differently so I like have them both. I use it when working on my laptop in bed. I get muscle fatigue and can’t always sit at a desk. Using these mesh laptop stands are great for either laying in bed with some pillows and the adjusting the height on the stand and laying in bed with news up and stand flat on knees. Because it is mesh it keeps the laptop of your body to help keep the laptop freer so air can circulate around the laptop. Excellent quality product. I am very happy with it.
