Handy to have when making those sauces that bubble or frying things that splatter.
Pro: It is HUGE and does a good job of preventing splatter.
Con: It’s huge, so if you have pots that have jutting out handles, it doesn’t always lie flat… it still does that job.
When I make tomato sauce, I’d always have to wipe down my tiles and stove… this helps alot!

This wonderful invention arrived today so I haven’t had a chance to use it yet but can’t wait! It’s a great size and the added feature of the foldable handle makes it easier to store flat without taking up too much space. Well done OXO! You impress once again!

Nice splatter screen. Easy to clean since it’s a formed and drilled stainless steel metal sheet (it’s not mesh). The only down side is it’s too big for my cast iron pan as it’s sit on the handles and leaves a gap between the pan sides and the screen. Greatly reduce splatter on the oven. If only I had measure my pan before buying 🙁 .

I like the fact that this product has a fold out handle, but its function (to stop splattering) could be better). It only reduces splatter if laid flat on the pan, but not all and can become scorched which is difficult to clean.

I bought this item as when we fry stuff everything gets messy in the kitchen with oil, and I thought this was the solution. But it doesn’t work that good, the holes are pretty big and still splash a lot of oil. For other uses I’m not sure if it works but for my purpose it didn’t.

First I want to mention that this is not protecting you a 100% from splatter. But it is a huge help.
It is easy to clean and we love that you can store it easily because of the folding handle.
My wife would not go without it anymore and even my parents got them now.

This is an easy to clean answer to keeping grease splatter off the stove top. It simply works. It sits on any of my frypans. I like that Its handle folds, fits in the cabinet better. This was good value for money.

The splatter screen works much better than the one we owned previously, which was wire mesh. It is easier to clean and looks good. So far there has been no discoloration of the surface, which happened quite quickly with our wire mesh screen. The handle folds, which allows it to be fit into the kitchen sink to soak.

I’m just starting to use this, but so far I like it. I like the quality of Oxo products.
However, I think this might be more like a lid and less like a spatter screen. I find it keeps a lot of moisture in when it might need to escape, bacon, for example. Difficult to do both contain spatters and let out air, though. It’s also enormous – need to find a place to store it! But that means it fits big pots…
Good quality product. I just need to get used to it
