Work perfectly well with Cuisinart food saver. I think it would be helpful to have guidelines printed on the bag so you can better cut a straight line and judge the size for the product you want to put into it. It’s a bit of guess work.
Also have difficultly with larger meats like pork filet as these are skinny and long so bags are always too wide causing a lot of waste and if you do it side ways the length is too much for the width of the sealer so maybe a 6″ roll would come in handy. I often do single chicken breasts or two sausages in a pack, these can be worked side ways or length wise but a smaller width for such items would ensure less wastage of the bags.
Have to admit, I do not get why they are so expensive to buy, more people would likely use them and the sealing machine if the accessories were more reasonably priced. However, the price here is in keeping with what it is at local stores, maybe a few dollars cheaper depending on size you buy.

We just bought the FoodSaver from Amazon and it saves so much room in the freezer. Friends have told us they have had food sealed in FoodSaver bags in the freezer for a year and have had no freezer burn, which saves money. These rolls are made of a thicker plastic and we’re told are reusable if throughly washed and dried. We wouldn’t buy another brand. These rolls of plastic are made specifically for the “Foodsaver” brand.

This isn’t my first time buying this product so I’m satisfied with it but I always assumed I was getting two ten foot rolls as the description on the box isn’t clear. I checked today and found out each roll is actually twenty feet long.

I find these to be easy to use, and I love making my own size bags with them. My father is 92 and loves EXTRA thick bacon that I can only purchase in bulk. I put four slices per bag, which is perfect for his morning breakfast and freeze them all in his freezer. They are perfect each time he takes one out, and they taste fresh much longer than in a ziplock bag.
I can’t live without this now.

So glad to find these on Amazon as they are hard to get at the store. They are tricky to use and you have to have at least a large 5 ” end piece to be able to get the folds to lie flat for a good seal so it may seem a waste but since I can vacuum seal and freeze a large chicken or thick cuts of roast that will not fit in the larger sized rolled freezer bags in the freezer for use later I am more than happy to have to use the extra bag length to be able to do this. The expandable bags work well if you take the time to get a good fold in the bag and line it up inside the machine end to so it lays nice and flat. Very happy with this purchase.

I was skeptical regarding this whole food saver thing. The initial cost I felt was a lot, but I’ve kept track of our food budget since and we are saving money!!! Our foods frozen in these bags are lasting longer, are stacking easier and its so nice that they are clear and can be labeled for easy identification of the contents. We can buy large amounts of meat and cut into individual meals, make and store soups, stews, pot pie filling, fruit pie fillings. And those stinky fish my husband catches…he cleans them and puts in the bags…no more smelly fishy smell in the freezer. I even store stuff not for the freezer. bulk onion soup mix (I have a large shaker that I refill), brown sugar (the bag is bigger than needed so I can reseal after taking out what I want. I think the food saver canisters are next on my purchase list for those dry ingredients. Got to hand it to my husband for talking me into this product. I can’t imagine not having it.

We have tried using generic bags with our Food Saver. None of the other bags we have used work as well as these. I believe it might be because of the texturing on one side. All bags we have used/made have sealed properly. Worth the extra bit of money to not have any waste.

This plastic does not seal one I’ve cut it into smaller bags (for smaller items where I don’t want to waste large amounts of plastic.) This was incredibly frustrating as I was using it with my FoodSaver brand machine. I ended up purchasing the Freshlocker brand rolls (2 rolls 11″ x 50′) which work fantastic and cost half the amount of the FoodSaver rolls. I will never purchase FoodSaver brand of rolls again.
