My Garmin charger was damaged by the GPS suction cup letting go and breaking the cable. I tried using a USB power unit and it didn’t have enough output, this does 🙂 Plus it gives me a few more USB ports for things like the TPMS and dashcam. Now my wife has a USB power unit on her side of the RV for her stuff 🙂

When my original charger broke for my Garmin I was furious. This has happened to me several times over the years and usually I have to just buy a new Garmin since the replacement cords are usually the same price as a new unit. I try using a usb charger every time but then the unit thinks I’m trying to plug it into a computer and doesn’t work properly.
( and no I can’t just use my phone gps because my work constantly takes me to areas with no cell reception)
Anyways, took a gamble on this and was pleasantly surprised. Not only does it work, but it fits better and operates better than the original! Plus I can also charge my phone using the usb inputs on the other end of this charger. I absolutely love this!

I was using a USB Car Adapter along with a USB micro cord and was constantly getting charging errors. The GPS unit was also very slow to start and would often restart on its own while in use. I changed the cable and adapter but kept getting the same error messages. Was about to purchase a new unit until I came across this charging cable. and thought why not? I plugged this new device in and the GPS came on almost instantaneously. No error messages and the additional two USB ports work very well also. Highly recommend giving this a try if you are having similar issues.

It works…I know what a surprise, I had manny plug ins and cables for my Garmin Nuvi. Most of the time they did not even power the device, I have use it for a while and it seem to work fine, like the 2 extra ports to charge my phone, and even run my dash cam.

I needed a replacement cable after my original Garmin Nuvi cable (10 years old?) failed. This works quite well and very happy with the extra USB charge ports available.

Works great gives me an usb to charge my phone at the same time. Have a Garmin truck gps so the cable works for the traffic part as well. Really worth the purchase.

Great product and it arrived fast. The 2 extra USB ports really helps as my car only has 1 port which I need for Android Auto. Now my wife can charge her mobile when she is in the car.

At first you will find this a nice replacement for your Garmin GPS cord because it has two USB lighted ports. But it’s really cheap. The tip on the plug is screwed in with just a few threads and when you take it out of the plug it can fly out and you might find the fuse but the tiny tip will take off somewhere never to be seen again. Without it, it won’t work, and then you got a non working GPS. I’m going to get the USB cord next and try that. At least it won’t have a fuse and spring that will shoot the tip off to never never land.

This product appears to of a better quality than the original car adapter that came with my Garmin Navigation. The two usb ports add a lot of functionality especially if you spend a lot of time on the road. It also comes with a usb charging wire that has an apple and standard plug. So far I’m really happy with it. Well worth the money.

I use a GPS on my motorcycle. Using a USB cord alone, always caused my unit to power on and off. So annoying.
This charger provides the proper power, and also allows me to charge my phone and another product at the same time.

I must have had a defect unit because it worked like a charm for a day and stopped on the 2nd. When I removed it to see whats going on it fell into pieces. Disappointing.
