UPDATE: Anker contacted me to assist me with this issue. They were able to explain a feature of this power bank that was NOT in the instructions. You have to press the power-check button twice to get a green light (along with the blue lights) and then it is put into trickle charging mode. THEN it will fully charge small units like my blue tooth head set. I must admit that this feature is a little annoying as I now have to remember to press the button when charging my headset. (My original Anker power bank did not have this feature and charged my headset just fine). Now my power bank appears to be working just fine. Also I give Anker a thumbs up for their customer service. They were prompt in contacting me to sort out this issue and very responsive.
This power bank does not seem to be able to fully charge my small bluetooth headset. It should be able to charge the bluetooth headset to seven hours of talk time and it simply won’t do it. I am not sure if something is wrong with this new power bank but I am currently not satisfied with it! I also do not like that it is difficult to see the blue charging lights because they are too small.

Très bonne batterie de secours, très puissante et endurante. Très nombreuses recharges de divers appareils (cellulaire, tablettes, casques audio, liseuses) et je n’ai pas réussi à la mettre à plat. Ralenti un peu quand on recharge 2 appareils en même temps (environ 30% plus de temps) Si je cumule grossièrement les charges que j’ai fait, je pense être capable de recharger au moins 5 à 6 fois mon S9 en le branchant à 20% de reste de batterie. Un peu lourde pour le transport dans une poche, parfait pour un sac à dos ou une sacoche. Grosse comme un cellulaire XL pour environ 2 fois l’épaisseur, ce qui vous donne une idée. Livrée avec un petit filet très pratique pour éviter les scratchs mais sans doute peu efficace en cas de chute. Malgré tout cette batterie me semble de bonne conception et le plastique à l’air solide. Prévoir une nuit pour la recharger complètement, la puissance a un prix…Très satisfait de cet achat.

This charged my phone to 77% (Google pixel 2 XL) and my friend’s phone to about 40% (iPhone 8) and it still had four lights on (which means it was still above 75% power). I never go anywhere without it.
just a tip; if you have devices with different types of chargers I recommend getting a multi cord instead of carrying around 3 cables I have a Google pixel 2 XL which uses a USB C, Airpods which use a lightning adapter, and my Bluetooth speaker which uses a micro USB and having one cable that can charge all three is super convenient I can just throw the battery pack and one charger in my pocket and not have to worry
*EDIT* I just thought I would update this, I bought this back in the beginning of January and it’s now the beginning of September, this thing has been dropped and abused and beaten up and it’s still working just like the day I bought it.

Aufgrund des viel zu geringen Abstandes zwischen dem USB-2- und dem USB-C-Anschluss können beide nicht gleichzeitig verwendet werden. Es ist z. B. nicht möglich, beim Aufladen der Anker-Powerbank ein iPhone zum Laden anzuschließen.

The surface looks and feels premium. No finger prints and seems pretty dust proof.
The size is almost exactly same as my Samsung S8 which is pretty neat, the weight is also lighter than I thought it would be.
One issue is that it only comes with one Micro-USB cable, so if you’re a Samsung user you need to use/buy another cable if you want to charge your phone.
The travel bag comes with it but it just look kinda stupid, decent quality but definitely could be better designed.
Shipping is another issue. It took quite long to ship and the shipping box is waaaaay to big for it. It slides around the box so much that I’m amazed this thing could make it before it got damaged.

There is no clear indication anywhere on this product’s page indicating the charge time. I see 15 watt maximum but they do not specify under what circumstances as I know I get nowhere near that. I have another Anker battery pack that has 18W charging labelled on it and that charges fast. This product charges at 5W based on the time difference between charging with this product and the other 18W anker battery pack. I have tried different wires thinking the issue was with the USB wire but I use those on the other anker product and they charge at 18W whereas with this product I am getting 5W. This is a misrepresentation if this product actually charges at 5W and it is not faulty. When it takes my phone almost 4 hours to charge from 40%, what is even the point of using this battery pack? Horrible product!

ACHTUNG: alle gemessenen Daten können beim Gebrauch von anderen Verbrauchen bzw. Kabel und ohne zwischengeschalteten Messgeräten stark Schwanken. Auch die Kapazität der Akku`s kann nach mehreren Zyklen oder Temperaturunterschieden Stark nachlassen dies trifft jedoch auf Jeden Akku zu.
Fazit: Sowohl ANKER als auch POWERADD sind sehr gute Hersteller, die Effizienz der eingebauten Elektronik wird sich in den kommenden Monaten hoffentlich steigern. 2018 habe ich das Model: Pilot 5GS getestet und habe eine effizient von ~78,11% erhalten.

Was a really good charger, while it lasted. Fith, maybe sixth time I plugged it in to charge it caught on fire. Luckily I was in the room and smelled the burning plastic before it caused damage to anything else.

Ich habe mir das hier gekauft damit ich ein großen powerbank habe für alle Fälle da ich mit anker Produkte sehr zufrieden bis herr war wurde ich hierbei etwas enttäuscht.
1.Zum ersten da es leider nur eine usb Kabel dabei ist und kein USB C weil mit dem Normalen anschluss muss ich immer vorsichtig sein habe angst das es abbricht mann hätte einfach ein usb c Kabel mitliefern können.
2. am Anfang konnte ich meinen iphone X mehrmals aufladen und jetzt komme ich bis zu drei Aufladungen habe noch einen vom anker der 10000 hat der funktioniert besser wie der hier werde mir das noch mal paar tage angucken ansonsten geht es wider zurück…..

Kundendienst hat sich bei mir gemeldet und mir ein Ersatz zugesendet bester Kundendienst die mann sich wünschen kann alles bestens gelaufen bin sehr zufrieden deshalb kaufe ich auch nur vom Anker da kann mann nichts falsch machen danke Anker Team weiter so.

Ich hatte vorher No-Name-Akkupacks gekauft, die aufgrund der gemessenen Kapazität zurückgingen. Als Maßstab dienten jeweils Handys mit deren Akkukapazität. Theorie: Wenn also ein jeweils leeres Handy mit 3600mAh ich 6x aufladen kann, und das Akkupack 20000mAh liefern soll, würde das irgendwie hin kommen — Wandlungsverluste, Alter des Handy-Akkus, Erwärmen der Akkus mal außen vor gelassen.
Bei den No-Name-Produkten bin ich immer bei gut der Hälfte der Kapazität gelandet und habe die dann entnervt zurück gesendet.
Gut, dachte ich mir. Dann kaufst du halt ein Markenprodukt, mit der Marke hast du ja vorher zumindest gute Erfahrungen gemacht.
Leider war Anker auch nur minimal besser. Ich habe dann den Support von Anker geschildert, dass ich so 12000mAh bis wohlwollend maximal 14000mAh Stunden herausbekomme, was die als richtige Messung bescheinigten.
Nach Inspektion der Rückseite (Bild) war mir als alter RC-Car-Fahrer klar, dass die 20000mAh bei 3.6V (LiPo-Akku) anliegen. Daher steht auf der Rückseite auch 72Wh. Nur das wird halt durch einen Step-Up-Wandler auf 5V gewandelt. D.h. aber, dass das Akkupack nur erwa 14400mAh hat = 72000Wh / 5V.
Die Angabe von 72Wh ist also richtig auf der Rückseite, leider nur bei den internen 3.6V kommen da 20000mAh raus. An der 5V USB-Buchse halt nicht. Nur das zählt halt für mich.
Ich hatte den Support dann auch mit dieser Rechnung konfrontiert, was die mir bestätigten.
Der Support bot mir dann 15% Nachlass an.
Für mich blieb das halt trotzdem ein nach meinem Dafürhalten illegale Kennzeichnung, die rechtlich zu klären wäre.
Rückblickend glaube ich, dass die No-Name-Produkte das genauso gemacht haben. Da habe ich mir das ja nicht so genau angeschaut. Vielleicht gibt es sogar gar kein Akkupack, was richtig deklariert ist und das ist Usus so.
Richtig und ehrlich dem Verbraucher gegenüber ist das keinesfalls.
Sollte das jemand mal durch eine Verbraucherzentrale oder einen Anwalt klären lassen, wäre ich für einen Kommentar dankbar.

I needed a good power bank. So I know Anker is really good. Got this one. And it looks great first of all. But it doesn’t last as long as I thought it would. Like 4 led lights die out quick just charging my iPhone 8. After one charge it’s down to the last light. So that was a disappointment. But it’s not bad. Just wish it would charge like it stated in the add.

I have never been disappointed with Anker products in the past, but now I’m debating whether or not to keep this power bank. Since the package doesn’t include an adapter, so for charging I plug the USB cable to my Samsung S10 Wall Charger block. Although, it says the recharging time is 10 hours, but it actually takes uninterrupted 11 hours and 30 minutes for a full charge! This makes the power bank not so practical when you are on the move traveling… ☹

I’ve had a powercore 20100 for a while now and I can’t fault it, however, it’s a little tired and having upgraded I’d prefer a powerbank that charges with a usb-c conection so I bought this. It’s been on charge for around four hours and it’s only got two charge lights illuminated so I’m hoping that is a glitch because at this rate it will take 24 hours to charge. Also I’m not sure I like the new design (totally personal preference) as the older version seemed more robust. I hope tomorrow it’s charged as I can not fault Anker for their products. Finally I’m a little surprised it doesn’t feature fast charge as most phones now have that capability (that is a lesson in reading the description). I will update once it is charged.
The charge took around 16 hours which is around 6 hours longer than my old powercore. I will.drain them both and do a back to back comparison.
