Outside of the trunk was wrapped in printed plastic that looked like bark, Plastic was the thickness of a garbage bag.
Had the tree screwed in and one day I came home to see that the welds had broken off the base and the tree was lying on the ground. Stalk to base was held by three tiny spot welds.
Overall the whole thing is very cheaply made. For over $300 I was expecting a much better product.

Easy to assemble!! Excellent quality item! Looks real!!! Using it as my Christmas tree this year because we can’t go to Key West due to Covid. I want to buy another one, so I can buy a small hammock to hang between the two and put a Santa in the hammock!!!

Hey, it’s an inexpensive fake palm tree. Don’t expect too much realism for the price. As a novelty object to light up a corner in an interesting way, we like it! But nobody will ever be fooled into thinking it’s real. If that’s your objective, there are companies out there who will make what you want for ten, twenty, thirty… times the price. Thickness and sturdiness are subjective assessments. I guess thickness (of the trunk?) is relatively realistic. I don’t know about sturdiness; it seems sturdy enough standing on its own, which is all it’s intended to do. If you’re going to let your kids or pet monkey play Tarzan swinging from it, I wouldn’t bet on it to take that sort of abuse. Bottom line is that we like it and we think it’s good bang for the buck.

It was a little cheaper made than what I expected, the tree trunk is wrapped in a black foam similar to a pool noodle and has plastic like type tape wrapped around the trunk. I would have hoped for something a little more durable as I am using this outside. It did come with a metal base that can be anchored into the ground using small metal stakes, we ended up using wood screws and attached it my wood deck. It went together very easy. It has made a great addition to my deck.

This product is very cheaply built and gaps do not fit snug. I bought this for my wife for Christmas and just opened it up to put it by our hot tub. The first thing we noticed is that there should be 3 nuts to connect the tree to the base, one nut was missing. The second thing was that the middle piece of the trunk welded nut was not secure and snapped soon as we tried to screw in the screw. Just finished using some No More Nails glue to hold it in place. Also the gap between the middle part of the trunk and the bottom is wide and looks horrible. Overall completely dissatisfied with the product. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

It’s not sturdy or suitable for outdoor use, too light and too flimsy. Was surprised to have to pay 20% re stocking fee for returning it. That should have been transparent when ordering. A disappointed Amazon Prime Customer

I love this silly tree! It stands out and looks good in day or night light.

We bought this palm tree to go on our screened porch, replacing an old one that wore out. Delivery was very fast, but unfortunately, once we unpacked and set it up, the tree would not light up. We followed the troubleshooting instructions, and even used a multimeter to confirm there was power to the tree (24 volts coming out of the power supply) but that power wasn’t getting to the light string. We traced the power throughout the light string and there was no power getting to any part of it. Apparently, the wiring was faulty right out of the factory. Sent the tree back for a refund…do not recommend this product, as it was very cheaply put together and unreliable….poor quality control.

Great! Love it! Used it on our “Caribbean” staycation :-). Will get lots of use at future parties snd now resides in our hot tub room. May go camping with us this summer as a unique light! Lol. Will need a larger board to keep it stable in winds. Comes apart easily into a few pieces for storage and transit.
Very happy!

Easy to put together – if you have 4 hands. The electrical connections between the 3 trunk sections are small and have to be done a certain way. I laid it out on my bed to assemble. But once up and lit, I couldn’t help but chuckle on how trippy it looked. Great even unlit in the day. In my small studio apartment, it’s the highlight of my Mexican decor!

Using this palm tree as a Christmas tree. We love it. The metal base it comes with is heavy enough to hold up the tree. Will be hanging red and silver ornaments all around.

Was so happy at first despite the high price tag for Canadian buyers. Should have listen to the reviews.
Here is a picture of it working. Looks great! This is the large Lightshare Palm Tree I bought for someone as a gift. It looks amazing the first day. I later found out it only lasted about two weeks before I found out that both sets of LEDS are intermittently working.
Not to happy for something that cost me about $250 CAD. Total out of luck here.
I even contacted service@ehomeinc.com and was told that the issue is probably caused by the transformer and would send out replacement parts right away, but of course they will not send to Canadian address. Most warranties cover North America. I guess not these guys.
Just disappointing that companies do not back there products anymore.
