Es resistente y bonita. A pesar de que peso más de 150 kilos, la cama no rechina al subirme, ni se ha a aflojado. La única área de oportunidad que le encuentro es que el tambor tiene huecos demasiado amplios, por lo que empiezo a sentir que por ahí se van algunos resortes. Tendré que agregarle unas tablas o un triplay.

I really like how tall this bed frame is and was exceedingly happy with it until I got my new bed delivered today…. I was told this bed frame will void my warranty as the slats are too far apart if there were more slats in the 3 inches of space allowed instead of the 7.5 this frame has I would be happy, now I have to figure out what I can do to continue using my bed frame as to avoid buying a new one

I set it up alone within half an hour or so surprisingly. It’s only been a week of having it assembled. It is still wobbly and shaky especially since the metal isn’t heavy. I don’t know if screws need to be tightened better. One of the poles seems slightly short from touching the floor. The bed height is perfect so i can see my window.
Update; Almost 2 months later, the bed frame collapsed. It is not practical for a mattress or 1 person to sleep on it. Its absolutely weak besides noisy with any slight move. I didnt realize it only had 1 month amazon return window. I just deassambled it and need to figure out how to return it.
Update 2: Their customer service has been unhelpful via email a week later sending photos and listing broken parts. They have not offered to refund their defected product and claim that it is not eligible for a refund.

From the moment we opened the box and saw the quality of the metal and rods i was pretty impressed and happy.
Seein the nuts and bolts they are very well labeled.
Instructions are very very well made and all of the metal rods are labeled.
I recommend this bed frame and the company who made it.
They took the time to make nice labels, instructions and a quality frame.

Los 2 primeros meses no hubo ningún problema con la base más que algún chillido ocasional, sin embargo después de tres meses de uso usando un colchón queen size con un peso de 45 kg, y con un compañero de cama que pesa 75 kg, se empezaron a botar los frenillos de plástico que sostienen la barras en su lugar tornándose inservibles aún poniéndolo de nuevo en su lugar. La verdad pensé que sería de mejor calidad pero no, se movían tanto las barras que después de 4 meses de uso, mejor quité la base y volví a poner el colchón sobre el piso. (Me sentaba de un lado de la cama y se levantaba el lado contrario llegando a ser muy incómodo dormir inclinada) Mi peso es de 52 kg, sumando el total 172 kg lo cuál es muy por debajo del peso máximo que dice aguantar. (250 kg?) No recomiendo ésta base para uso continuo para nada, mejor conseguirse otro producto de mejor calidad.

I was looking for king sized bed for my 12inch foam mattress. My search ended with zinus.
Pros =
1. It’s pocket friendly. Yet no compromise in quality.
2. As it’s 16inch metal platform bed my bulky bags, suitcases and other items well organized below the bed. That’s the biggest advantage i came across.
3. It’s light weight yet firm and sturdy makes cleaning process easier. You can easily shift/ move while vacuuming/mopping.
4. We don’t have bed bugs problem but still metal bed gives relief in that scenario too.
5. Coming to quality it’s much better than other products i seen in market. My little munchkins tested this bed with their activities too.
6. Corners are not sharp well molded dosen’t hurt my kids.
7. Honestly i was not expecting sturdy quality, but it meets with all my expectations.
8. Looking forward to order twins size for kids.
Cons.
1. Wish the gap between the columns could have been less.

Fast delivery. Easy to assemble. Instructions were very easy to follow. Came with everything required to set up. Took about 30 minutes for my husband and I to put together. Build quality seems pretty good. Will be used for guest bedroom, so uncertain how it would stand up to heavy use over time, but seems appropriate to where it will be used.

I was so excited to find this product. I’ve been looking for a long time for something that had enough clearance under the bed for my 17 dogs to sleep! They’ve been sleeping on my mattress, and I’ve often had to sleep on the couch because there wasn’t enough room for me on the bed. Now they can all sleep comfortably under the bed instead of on top. The first night they were all excited about their new sleeping arrangements, but now since the mattress has lots of room on it, the chickens are all too happy to sleep on there with me. We might have to rethink this…However its a good solid bed and I’m very happy with it.

La base es “facil” de armar aun para una sola persona. No hace ruido pese a ser de este material uno pensaria que rechinaria o haria algun ruido.
tiene dos factores que no le favorecen, ambos desde mi perspectiva personal , una por error mio y la otra es bastante ambigua.
la base es tan ligera, que hace que toda la cama se mueva con facilidad, lo cual puede ayudar para la limpieza o entorpecer el uso si la cama se pega a una pared.
y la segunda , error mio, pedi modelo queen para una cama matrimonial y sobra muchisimo espacio en la base, fijense bien en eso antes de pedirla.
como referencia, peso 100 kilos y la base soporta sin problemas

Se arma muy fácil, esta muy bien terminado, mide dos metros de largo hay que tomarlo en cuenta por el colchón, pero a mi me queda bien porque ese espacio sobrante lo usaré para la cabecera debajo caben maletas o cajas de plástico contenedoras lo que es muy práctico. Yo quería meter un colchón debajo pero hay una pata central de soporte que lo impide.

I’ve purchased two Zinus bed frames in the last month. This is a review of the 16 inch Metal Platform Bed Frame with Steel Slat Support. The other bed I purchased is the Modern Studio 14 inch Platform 3000 with Wooden Slat Support. The review will compare them as I think they both are very good for what they cost but there are reasons why you might choose one over the other. I live on the Canadian prairies where mildew will never be a problem due to the extreme dryness of the climate.
Assembly: The metal slat bed has a more pieces and was a more involved build. The frame sides are in two pieces. The instructions had me assembling the foot of the frame into U with the feet attached and the head into an n with the feet attached. I was then to join the two assemblies into the complete frame. When I went to do so, one of the sides had a slight twist preventing the join. I tried using a large adjustable spanner (Crescent wrench) to twist the rectangular tube to fit. The frame material is very solid so this was not successful. I loosened the leg and the attachment of the side piece to the end piece and this allowed the join to be made. This problem speaks to how solidly the frame is built. The wooden frame went together without any hitches and with fewer steps. The metal slat bed kit included spare fasteners but the wooden slat kit did not. One of the hex holes on a bolt on the wooden slat bed stripped but the head was large enough to be able to use a Vise grip to finish the tightening. The finished build on both beds was very solid and I don’t doubt that both will be around after 20 years of daily use. The metal slat model seems to be the more robust of the two. It has three middle support legs vs one on the wooden slat model.
Design: The wooden slat model has 12 slats that are 65 mm wide and the metal model has 10 slats that are 12 mm wide. The wooden slat model does a better job of distributing the weight of the mattress. The metal slats are held in place with tabs welded onto the frame. They are not going anywhere. The wooden slats are held in place with Velcro. It might be necessary to redo the Velcro at some point in time (although probably not as there won’t be a lot of stress put on the Velcro under normal use.) The wooden slats appear to be of sufficient quality that they won’t warp from the dry weather however only time will tell.
If you have a need for extra strength (say rambunctious teen-aged boys) or you want to save a few dollars (the metal frame model is slightly less expensive,) you might opt for the metal frame model. Both of these beds offer great value for a low price.
