I have a car fridge plugged in and the unit gets too hot to the touch both at the input (male socket) and output (three female sockets). This was without anything else plugged in. I’m afraid of a fire! If I plug my fridge directly into the main car female socket (without using this device), the fridge runs fine and plug in doesn’t over heat and runs cool leading me to believe the switching components in this splitter are faulty or badly designed. I’ve now tested three of these similar splitters and all do the same thing…overheat.
