Matt Mackinnon –
I had read how the Instant Pot makes wonderful cheesecakes so I needed to get a set of small enough spring form pans to give it a try, These were about the right price, but you only get 3 of them. Sort of a problem for a family of 4. They are made quite well. The rivets for the buckle are a bit large on the inside of the pan and that makes them a bit more difficult to clean but hot water and a green scotch bright pad and your good to go. The bases are a bit more narrow than the top of the pan so you can’t stack them one on top of the other in the Instant Pot. I found that I needed to put tinfoil over them and then I could offset stack two on the bottom and rest the third between the two on top.

Loved these so much that I ordered another 3 sets. Perfect for individual cakes or for sharing with another person. Great quality at an affordable price. Saw them somewhere else for more money. Would purchase from seller again.

I have recently discovered the Instant Pot and wanted to try out the cheesecake recipe. These are a perfect size, and I can stack all three in my pot. These work just like the larger pans but allow you to make individual portions.
When using a thick liquid like cheesecake, there was no leaking, but I did notice when cleaning them that water leaks from them.

Love these cute little pans! They are perfect for making cheesecake in the instant Pot (or in the oven). I bought myself two sets when they were on sale + bought a third set for a friend who has a new Instant Pot. I gave out cheesecakes to my friends and family at Christmas time – these pans made the process very simple. They clean up really well in the dishwasher as well.My only advice would be: if you’ve lifted off the top portion and are trying to separate what you’ve made from the bottom circle, use a knife with a down and then up motion (like prying) as there is a bit of a lip around the bottom circle.

Great cake tins, made six mini Christmas cakes. Tins easy to use and clean. Used my usual recipe and had great results. Would recommend these tins for mini cakes to give to friends and family.

Bought these so I could send a Christmas cake to my daughter but they were so easy to use I ended up making cakes as presents for everyone. I just put paper around the bottom and lightly greased the sides and it’s very easy to get it out of the tin and base. I did try a sponge without baking paper or margarine on the base and I still got it off the base but it was more of a struggle. Tins don’t leak like some. They are easy to clean in the dishwasher but then you need to get a brush around the grooves but that’s not difficult to do.
Makes very pretty little cakes, just right for decorating without too much trouble.

In a rush of blood to the head, I decided to make Melton-Mowbray-ish pork pies. But what to make them in? So I ordered these pans from Amazon and what a great buy they turned out to be. They are the perfect size for a pork pie. The pastry went in quite easily. With these pies, you have to bake the pies for a while, then you have to take them out of the pans and put them back in the oven to cook the outside of the pies. This worked like a charm. So now I’m an expert at cooking pork pies, thanks to my springform pie pans! Move over, Jamie Oliver!

I bought these to make either my own burger buns, or smaller sponges. My first use was Victoria sponge mix, while they didn’t leak out onto the baking tray, some of the mixture was in the groove that the loose bottom sits. Now whether it’s just me but I found it very difficult to clean this residue off. It was almost like it had fused on to the metal. I’ve yet to try using them to make burger buns I will update if I have any issues. Just to mention I don’t use a dishwasher on non stick items as dishwashers are very abrasive.

These pans are sturdy but they do leak if you are baking anything with a runny batter.
I made cheesecakes that had a crumb base, and those were fine, but when I poured a somewhat liquidy chocolate cake batter into them, they leaked out the bottom. Had to pour their contents into a regular cake pan to bake the cake.
So if you are going to use them for anything that has a crumb or pastry base, or with thick cake batters you spoon in, they will be fine.
However, don’t plan to use them for anything remotely runny

One of the more frustrating issues in the kitchen is a flimsy spring form pan. These mini’s are great as they are very sturdy with a high quality ‘catch’ that secures the base. I’ve tested them a few times with cheese cake and found I did not need to wrap them in tin foil for the water-bath method. There was no leakage due to the excellent seal. Very pleased and highly recommend

I’ve used them twice to make cheesecakes for birthdays, I love that they take less time to bake than a regular cheesecake (like 28min instead of a whole hour) and I love that they don’t need a waterbath to avoid cracking. I found them super easy to clean. One 4inch cheesecake feeds two people.

for a single serving pie, this is the ideal bake form. much better pastry to filling distribution than so many of the other shapes and sizes.

I used these to make mini rich fruit cakes to give to the neighbours for Christmas so I did line them with baking parchment and can’t comment on the non-stick ability. They’re really cute to use and worked really well for my fruit cakes (Delia’s Classic Christmas Cake recipe filled all 3 mini pans with extra batter to spare to make a short cake in a regular sized springform pan).
