This monitor is perfect. We are only using it with one camera atm so I cannot comment o the two camera set up. Picture is clear, day and night. Monitor is large so easy to see baby. Panoramic camera is fantastic. Audio is good, no issues hearing baby. Monitor feels like pretty good quality. Doesn’t feel cheap. We purchased two other brands before this and sent them back because ether were absolute garbage. I would have paid more for this unit. Enjoy!

Terrible. Don’t buy this monitor! At first it was great, but 2 weeks in the night vision started blinking on & off & now it won’t turn on at all. In 2.5 weeks the audio stopped working. I tried contacting vtech support & never heard back. I’m so disappointed! I had the older model & really liked it, but when the screen dropped & broke, there’s no option to buy a screen separate from the camera & they no longer make the model I had.

Thermometer DOESN’T WORK. And any settings that you try to change make a loud noise. Thermometer says it is colder than it is so the monitor keeps turning the light on all night on… when it should be on only when baby cries. Trying to change settings in brightness, sensitivity or any other is a challenge when baby is sleeping because it makes loud noises. Besides these… it works fine. I had it for 9 months now.

I’ve gone through a few monitors in the last 18 months, I love this one. The only flaw is the battery life on the parent monitor isn’t great. I love the setting where the screen auto turns on when it detects sound than auto shuts back off, never have to touch it during the night. The volume is great, not that annoying high pitch sound you need it just seems to be the right tone. Being able to move the camera remotely is also great because once they get bumped and you close the door and realize the camera is off and you have to sneak back in, never again!

This monitor is very good. My previous monitor was one from summer infant, it was garbage, the night vision was terrible, their customer service was also awful. This monitor far surpasses that one. The picture quality is great, and the night vision is very good! I’m quite pleased. Update: a few wonky controls, still a great picture, just the volume buttons make the camera move?!?! Seems odd, but still far better than the summer infant crappy one we had.

Bought this in anticipation of our new bundle of joy, and figured VTech was a big enough brand I should get at least close to what was described but It’s a bit of a stretch to call this camera “High Resolution” and the simulated picture in the advertising (and on the box) is a far cry from the quality you’ll get on the handheld parent unit. I did a return to Amazon and got a 2nd unit thinking the original was just a defective, but they both operated the same.

The image is tinted a purple/pink hue (looking at my white kitchen during my initial testing had pink cabinets??). The frame rate is lower than I would expect, probably only 3-5fps guessing from the fact I can walk by the camera and the picture only shows me briefly once, in the dead center of the picture, and then gone again. Camera was 2 feet from the parent unit. Switching off the lights somehow reveals a decent quality picture in just black & white (b & w is normal for night vision cameras). Picture wasn’t better than normal mode, it just didn’t get any worse.

Pressing the volume up button repeatedly on the parent unit caused the camera to pan upwards for some reason, annoying, but survivable.

The camera is near silent, but not “silent” as other reviews have mentioned. It’s not loud enough to be disruptive, but warranted a mention for clarity.

The LCD auto-off feature is nice, and I’m sure it helps with battery levels. I liked that feature. A loud sound in the baby’s room (or anywhere near the camera) wakes the screen up, grabbing your attention. The sensitivity is adjustable.

The lullabies are a bit tinny, as is the camera speaker. Also kind of expected and not sure I’d ever use that feature anyway, as I’m sure pretty much everyone has some other device for that purpose.

If the camera switches off, or losees connectivity, the parent unit will sound an intermittent alarm and wake up the LCD (assuming the unit is powered on). So that’s good. It does take ~20 seconds for that to happen. I assume that’s to deal with intermittent interference if you’re at the limits of the range.

I walked around the house (2000sqft 2flr) and the signal was always strong, full bars, so reception seems pretty good.

Overall, the camera performs OK, but It’s not worth the $180 regular price tag, and even on the sale price I thihnk I’m still going to return it. I am really disappointed with the screen quality and coloring. Shame, if the image was just colored properly and

This monitor has a good range but my concern is that video quality during night or day is not the greatest. Frame rate is low and hence don’t get a real live experience. Battery life for the parent monitor is not great.
It has some nice features like LCD auto off and also the monitor screen size is reasonable.

Great daylight picture, ok night picture. Overall this camera is OK. I love that the screen can turn off and turn back on when the baby makes sound (although sometimes it can be a bit delayed). The temperature monitor is not accurate at all… it says it’s 24 in the babies room… it’s 19… Battery life is TERRIBLE. I had a levana monitor prior to this that would last 2-3 days before it died, although the screen was much smaller. This monitor lasts MAYBE 4 hours, and that would be pushing it.. Even with the power save mode where the screen turns off.. would never last an entire night. Thankfully my son is now 2, and we have an outlet right next to our bed. I luckily got the monitor on sale for $107, or I would have been highly disappointment.
