I have an 11’ octagonal patio umbrella that needed a new cover. I settled on this one and I am really happy with the purchase. It is made of good heavyweight canvas, it fits snugly and the zipper runs very smoothly. I think the pole that comes with the cover to keep the cover straight as you put it on and take it off is perhaps a bit undersized and a little flimsy. I ended up using the pole from my previous cover instead. Otherwise, the cover itself is well worth it.

This is the best umbrella cover, hands down. We tried a couple of others, but didn’t come close to the value of this one. Well made, thick material, even comes with a collapsible pole to help with putting it up and taking it down. Very, very happy with our purchase. Highly recommend!

Fits well on 11ft. offset umbrella. Comes with foldable rod to facilitate draping the cover over the umbrella which is almost 13ft high. Nice feature that is not provided with other umbrella covers. The banana shape of the cover allows for enclosing both the umbrella and the stand. The previous cover we had only enclosed the umbrella which meant that the umbrella swayed in heavy winds and we had to use a bungee to secure to to the stand.

(June 2020) I have a very large cantilever umbrella and this covers it. I will be using it to cover during the winter months, not on a daily basis in the summer. If I were to use it often, I might use a broom handle – I am short, the umbrella is tall and the rod is thin enough to make putting the cover on and off a little difficult (although the rod seems as strong or stronger than others, they are all thin). I do like the “pocket” at the top of the zipper for the tip of the rod to go in. All in all I highly recommend.
Update (April, 2021) I removed the cover after one winter. It has held up well. No signs of wear and tear on the material.

It is durable and looks amazing. I had to go with the black instead of the brown because I had ordered the wrong size and black was available at the time of exchange. I was able to see the brown as well and it too was a good quality cover and rich in colour.
Exchange was easy. Just mailed it back and paid postage.
So! We have an 11.5 cantilever. I went with the size for 11.5….don’t make that mistake. Go big. I upsized and it is perfect. So happy with this purchase, and trust the positive reviews. They encouraged me to go with this company. Strong snaps and zipper.
I have not used the stick to help put the cover back on or remove – I followed another review and we go with a hockey stick. Super easy to get the cover on and off doing it that way.

Colour of fabric was charcoal initially, after 9 months in AU sun its a dull grey.
As far as protection goes it still protects the umbrella inside. Construction is good

The design and workmanship of this cover greatly exceeded my expectations even if it were three times the price. I have had the cover for about a month and have several notable observations so far. My wife and I have put the cover on and taken it off a half dozen times so far and find the shock corded fiberglass lifting pole to be a great feature. The cover is loose enough that it is easy to slip over the umbrella before zipping it up and cinching it tight.
Observations:
– Heavy 600D fabric that has been treated for water repellency. Rain beads and rolls off.
– The fabric is waterproofed from the inside and the seams are taped.
– The top is rectangular enabling the cover to fit over the solar panel at the top of our umbrella.
– The zipper is heavy duty with long grab loop making it easy to reach up and grab.
– Stitched seams are all sewn correctly. No skips, run offs, or loose threads.
– There is a velcro fastener at the bottom and a cinch cord to keep the bottom closed.
– There is a cinch strap on the side that enables the cover to be wrapped tight.
– There is a pocket that the folded up lifting pole slips into for storage when not in use.
I wish that I could find a grill cover that is as well made as this umbrella cover!

Purchased the “12-14 Foot” version to cover my Sungarden 11.5″ cantilevered umbrella. The size was perfect to cover the entire canopy and crank mechanism.
The fabric seems reasonably heavy and durable. The seams are well done and properly overlapped. They are even glued inside (see photo) which is NOT something you’d expect to see at this price point. We’ve had several heavy storms since getting this cover about a month ago and it seems it’s properly water-resistant when new. (I guess we’ll see how that holds up over time.) The color has faded ever-so-slightly… but it is out in full sun from sunrise until sunset ever day. It’s a fairly light color, so not really noticeable. I only spotted that it’s a touch darker where the strap covers the fabric.
The collapsible stick to help get the cover “up and on” the umbrella is handy, and I was very impressed to find a clever drawstring pocket inside the cover to store the collapsed stick. (I was actually wondering “Where the heck am I gonna keep this stick so I don’t lose it” when I noticed the pocket.) There’s also a small nylon pocket under the top of the zipper to insert the rod when lifting the cover up and over the top of the umbrella. (I didn’t even notice it at first.) Our umbrella is 9’6” at the peak and we have no trouble getting the cover on.
The buckled strap across the middle helps cinch the cover up tight, which will be important to reduce the total surface area of cover that could get hit by wind. Shockcord drawstring at the bottom helps here as well, and will prevent wind from getting up under the cover as well.
Other reviewers have complained about the presence of the Velcro strap at the bottom end of the zipper. I’m not sure why. Personally, I think it’s not a bad idea to keep an errant wind from getting under the cover and potentially forcing the zipper open. Unlikely to happen, since there’s also an elastic drawstring on the bottom, but conceivable. However, if you don’t want to use the velcro strap… simply don’t use it. It’s the type that folds back on itself and out of the way, so it’s easy enough to not use it and never think about it again.
A surprisingly great cover at a very reasonable price. Based on the initial quality I expect it will hold up for years. Highly recommended.

This is, by far, the best umbrella cover I have owned. I’m a sewer, so seeing a quality, large zipper, fabric that is heavy-duty, and the sewing quality that is in this product, I’m ecstatic! It comes with a snap that will tighten around your closed umbrella to hold the cover on, as well as a bungy-type cord that will tighten at the bottom. It even has a narrow pocket on the inside the cover that holds the pole that it comes with to help you get the tall cover on. Perfect! It covers my 10-foot umbrella right to the top of my table that I purchased for my umbrella. Love this!!!
