It heats up alot and creates moisture inside the light.
It is not good quality for underwater. Seller did not help

One day delivery was great. The light is very bright, and being waterproof makes a great light for my gopro
under water. Thanks Amazon.

Similar to a another review I saw after ordering light, it simply turned on when taken out of the box without touching the “on” button, and did so pretty much every time when set down. Simply removing the battery and re-inserting it prior to use solves the problem — but still very annoying, and shouldn’t happen, and doesn’t say much for the product’s quality. When tested underwater performed well at depths of up to 15 metres and provided a good amount of bright light for taking pictures with my GoPro 6 mounted on a tray handle. However after diving to a depth of 30 metres the next day (after re-charging the battery in the morning), the lamps started going dim on the subsequent shallow dive (9 metres), and upon resurfacing I discovered water droplets on the inside of the glass cover. Upon opening the battery compartment, I discovered it to be wet and the battery connection had discoloured green. Since then, part of the reflective material in the inside has discoloured black, and the light has stopped working altogether. Pretty disappointing, as the light was advertised as waterproof up to 45 metres and failed on my fourth dive on 2 consecutive days. Ultimately you get what you pay for — nevertheless, very disappointing as it did not perform underwater as advertised and would turn on at random.

Nice and compact light. Had hoped it would have acted as a dive torch which it didn’t. Id did work well as a fill light for close up photography (a few feet) but did not have a beam of light that could light up my dive.
Worked great for photos, they now don’t have a green tint.
The photo of the shell is at 34meters depth and it has showed up skin tones.
Fitted to my sjcam 4000.
Would recommend for a camera light

Used it in 4 feet of water and it immediately leaked. Going to return, will adjust if seller reaches out to explain. Was planning on using it at 75 feet. Very disappointed.

Mounts nicely on the GoPro (or clone) pistol grip and gives good light intensity for ‘regular’ scuba use.
Have not tried it down at 90 feet but trust that it will be water tight.
It would be nice if it had a moderate red tint glass to enhance the red colors.

Fantastic lighting and surprisingly powerful! Having done the comicbook looks at light and turns it on, I can confidently tell you that this beaming-ly bright light could illuminate your back garden. I think it’s options to switch modes and have different effects with the light is perfect and gives me a lot of confidence with it’s longevity. The fact that it has the go pro latch means that i can not only mount this compact yet punchy light anywhere, but also means that it’s very weightless, giving me the portability convenience that I need. All in all, I am very pleased with this product, I love the fact that it comes with a rechargeable battery and I think the very fair price makes this a no brainer.

Easy to use, battery not been used by me long enough to review. The quality of light underwater is poor, you need to be within 12 inches to get decent lighting of an area, that’s why it’s in my opinion poor value for money. You need bigger or more leds of this size for even an average brightness in day diving conditions at least. I will try it in darker dive sites and may change my score.

Used this light on my dives down to 80ft…works great. Not as bright but good enough and attaches to my go pro

Works fine in dark environment. Not really useful in low light condition. And light doesn’t go far enough like some other review mentioned; only reach about 20 cm in low light condition for me. Otherwise product is a very solid piece.

Piece of junk.dont waste your money. Light isn’t bright enough to be used as a diving/snorkeling light and it leaked and wrecked it on my first use in the water. I was using it for snorkeling and never went deeper than 10feet yet it got water in it and must have short circuited itself. The battery terminals corroded from the salt water leaking in. Looks like, looks well built but it isn’t .

I didn’t hold out much hope for this light due to the price but as this was my first foray into SCUBA camera work I thought I’d give it a go.
O, MY WORD… the light that is produced out of the water is pretty good and gives about 5-10 meters of clear view, underwater the range is about 200-500mm (which I would expect)
I took it t 20m and it worked well and there was no issue with the water seal – the dives were about 40-50mins and I used it on 2 dives for about 50% of the time.
So all in all for the price of a holiday Pizza it is a good purchase.

Well made and very bright. Works perfectly with your go pro. It you have an older go pro 3 or 4 the battery is interchangeable.
Can be used as a headlamp with the go pro head strap.
