This product is as described. It’s not overly expensive or large in size.
Easy set-up with excellent picture quality.
In description it says does not come with batteries and I must have received a lucky box because, batteries came with it.
Although, it does not have display on DVD Player itself which I knew before buying. I have no regrets!

I had one of these before. Lasted about 4 years. I expect the same for this one. Problem with all of these players is that the plastic laser lens eventually goes dark and it begins malfunctioning gradually and won’t read discs. So, if you use it every day for an hour or so, expect a limited life span of just a few years at best.
WARNING THOUGH! Don’t buy those “off-brand” Chinese things that promise the world though as they are just garbage.

so far so good. Had a problem hooking it up to my tv and could not get a signal. This was because the yellow cord had to go into a green connector on the tv. I had it in an orange one thinking that was the yellow . Looking closely I saw underneath the green connector were the words ‘y/ video’.( yellow video) Laughable I know to you techies out there but hope this helps a fellow technically challenged person !!!! I almost returned it because I thought it was defective- works fine now. .

Good dvd player cheapest i could find on Amazon but has an issue
This product comes with everything you need to set it up and get it working 3 RCA cables for video and audio Left and Right channels also comes with 2x AA batteries for the remote that’s included and a power cord
Only downsides is it’s the cheapest i could find for fast delivery even tho it’s still a bit pricey
Also for some reason audio cuts out for about half a second sometimes which is why i gave it 4 stars only I’m not sure if it’s because I’m using a soundbar but i highly doubt it.
Reason 3 no menu/select buttons nor it has fast forward or rewind like our other DVD player has this only has a power button a play/pause and a stop button and disk out/disk in button all other functions are on the remote and buttons are a bit hard to press and they are made of cheapy feeling plastic and make a cheapy click where pressed.
Reason 4 the fast forward/fast reverse can only go up to speeds up to 3x which I’m really sure our other dvd player can go over 9x which is a bit disappointing to be honest
Other than that it’s an ok dvd player if it was a bit cheaper i would have probably rated it better all and all picture quality looks decent and has pretty good audio only issue with audio is as i said is sometimes cuts out for about half a second and then returns also i really like the size of it as my TV table is getting fuller and fuller because i have a 49 inch samsung smart TV and a 20 something inch soundbar and my subwoofer is on the left side so if you’re looking for a small DVD player and you don’t have much room ir just want a small one this is perfect except for the audio problem i hope the one you get doesn’t have this and it was only me sorry uf this was a long review but i like to go in detail to ensure people are reading good reviews i always try something out for a week at least before writing a review hopefully you found this helpful!

I bought this as an open box but it came in a really beat up container and was missing items and looked like it had some miles on it already. Although initially disappointed I needed it for a trip to a camp and it worked ok. On my newer LCD TV it would stop after 5 minutes – picture off – sound played. Eventually I moved it to the “analog” hookup with some RCA cables and although the picture is slightly less – worked fine. As others have mentioned the resume play bookmark is a great feature it has that I wish my more expensive blue ray had
Overall for the price – a fair deal for a good brand name – package and (used) condition were a bit of a letdown but overall – ok

Hace falta que se pueda conectar, ya que tuve que comprar un accesorio extra. Ya que las pantallas traen, para conectar el cable y quedan dos entradas libres faltando una más.

The picture quality was great, but the buzzing noise was so loud it gave you a headache trying to watch the movie, got 2 replacements and they were all the same. Other players did not and do not make the buzzing sound so its exclusive to this sony product. Amazon was great to deal with through this issue.

Before I bought this item I read the reviews and some of them don’t do justice for this player…At 73 years old I had absolutely no problems with this player….Connecting it and making it work….Looking forward to many hours of watching DVD movies

El producto llegó bien y Cumple su función el problema es el servicio de paquetería que maneja el vendedor ya que se tiene que ver por aparte y en mi caso tuve que ir por el, he pedido cosas más baratas y me llegan a mi domicilio sin problema o solo pagando el envío. Me manejaron que por la zona no llegaría a mi domicilio Yo creo que es porque manejan sus envíos con Redpack porque con los otros servicios de paquetería no he tenido ningún problema.

Muy contentos con este Reproductor de DVD, lee los DVD’s Región 1 y Región 4 sin problemas, pero no lee Región 2, así que no es Multiregión. Muy fácil de operar y de instalar. El Precio es Excelente!!!

La descripcion del producto es confuso. En la pagina principal dice que NO tiene puerto HDMI, pero en las especificaciones del producto dice que tiene 1 puerto HDMI. En una de las preguntas al vendedor de un cliente anterior el menciona que SI tiene puerto HDMI. El chiste es que realmente NO tiene puerto HDMI. Cuando intente arreglar el problema usando un convertidor de video compuesto a HDMI no me funciono con DVDs region 1. Simplemente me harte y decidi regresar el producto. Muy bueno el servicio de devolucion.

IN THE DESCRIPTION OF THE ITEM IT DID NOT MENTION THAT IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH A SMART TV. THE PORTS FOR EACH ARE DIFFERENT AND WHEN I CALLED SONY, THEY ADVISED THAT THEY DO NOT MAKE OR KNOW WHO MIGHT MAKE AN ADAPTER FOR THIS PROBLEM. I HAVE KEPT THE ITEM TO TAKE TO MY COTTAGE. THIS WAS NOT THE PLAN. I HAD BOUGHT THIS ITEM FOR HOME TO BE ABLE TO USE IT WHEN THERE IS NO SERVICE.

I have purchased two of these DVD players and they are great! The first one was for the younger kids’ tv, and we ordered a second one for our oldest daughter after buying a cheaper Sylvania player that was frustrating to use. We returned that one because we couldn’t get it to play certain dvds.
My daughter’s favourite feature is that her Sony remembers where she stopped watching and allows her to restart a DVD from that spot without fast-forwarding. Some cheaper players don’t even have an option to skip forward, which is annoying.
We definitely recommend this Sony DVD player!
