The boots were not as dark as shown in the advertised picture, instead of dark brown, they were more of a medium-light brown. They also ran about a size bigger than normal size 8, felt like a size 9 or bigger. I had to return them. Luckily I ordered a pair of size 7 1/2 and a size 8. I placed extra insoles in the 7 1/2 and they fit well and are comfortable.

I tried switching to these boots after what I considered premature wear to the soles of a few pairs of Blundstones. Two years later, I’m happy with my choice. Since I have wide feet, the Skechers fit better from the start, which was a prime reason for trying them. I condition them a bit, and wear my boots pretty much every day, year round, with the exception of snowy conditions. I’m planning to order another pair.

Great boots for the price. Sizes are true, fit is good. Very comfortable. I was going to buy another pair. But the Ad was in US dollars, until check out, then it’s converted to Canadian. So price increase. Cancelled my order.

These are really comfortable boots. I ordered 1/2 size larger than I normally take, so do notice that. However, I do a lot of woods walking with my dogs and so far they are working out very well. Will probably get an insole inserts to tighten the fit up a bit, however, could get by easily without them. My only complaint (a minor one) is that they are not all that easy to get your foot into them. The pull tag at the back is a must use item. Have not really broken them in yet, so perhaps the top leather and stretchy material will loosen up a bit with more wear. However, once you manage to get your foot in – instant comfort.

The Sketchers Chukka boot exceeded my expectations in every way. The quality of the boot is excellent from the sole to the leather upper. The fit was as expected, and thankfully not narrow. I was looking at the Blundstone boots that Savage wears and swears by. The cost led me to look for an alternate. I found the Sketchers boot and having a pair of their runners, I gave them a try. I have not done a side by side with these and the Blundstones but I bet the Sketchers may be an overall better experience at a lower cost.

Love the comfort, l have a back problem, so any jarring caused by stepping on irregular hard surfaces, or stepping off a kerb without due care and attention is not pleasant.
This problem is negated by the soft inner of the boot, and they are a doddle to put on, and remove.
So if you are after comfortable boots, that are easy to fit, here’s your answer.

I’m a UK size 8 I took the risk and bought a size 7 and fit perfect, only had them for two days. Really difficult to get on though! but I can live with that

I had these for 1 1/2 winters and they developed a crack on top. I had treated it with mink oil so I can only conclude that these are low quality boots. They look good but they don’t last. And Skechers denied responsibility because it was over a year.

I bought these so I would have something easy to get on and off while working in the garage and garden but after a day of breaking them in indoors they were so comfortable they became my primary footwear.

These are my second pair of Sketchers boots and they are super comfortable as expected with memory foam.The comes with a mixture of leather and synthetic,Why the pull tab is of flimsy synthetic stuff only Sketchers know.Be warned if any heavy pulling on it,it will tear like paper.Otherwise it’s a great boot. The sizing chart is wrong/misleading,I ordered a 10.5 US which according to size chart is a 9 UK,i received a 9.5 which is annoying as i had them shipped from US.
