For all the reviews saying the size isn’t right (and thinking that means the cards are fake) you are not reading the description and you don’t understand how hard drives, SSDs, flash drives, or memory cards are sold. This is an industry standard. Your computer reads things in multiples of 1,024… so 1,024 bytes is a KB, 1,024 KB is a MB… 1,204 MB is a GB, etc… But all drives are sold in multiples of 1,000. So if you buy a 512GB card, and do the math… device makers are saying that card is 512,000,000,000 bytes. But divide that by 1,024 and your operating system will see it as 476.84GB. Beyond that, you also lose a small percentage for the “file system” index on the drive. So you may see a few GB less even. In my case, I have a 256GB card, which shows up as 238GB, which is exactly as expected. The description on this listing explains this with the text:
1MB=1,000,000 bytes. 1GB=1,000,000,000 bytes. 1TB=1,000,000,000,000 bytes. Actual user storage less.

That explained, I tested my card’s speed to see if it hits the 120MB/s ideal… not really. But marketing hype being what it is, I’m sure the “Speed up to 120/MB/s**” is in perfectly ideal conditions with specific readers and file sizes and the like… so my test of 93MB/s on a 10 year old USB 3 card reader with the SD adapter is acceptable to me. I think this should work fine on a soon to arrive Nintendo Switch for the kids. I’ll update this review if any surprises come up that should be noted.

Since modern notebook computers have microSD card slots, this is the easiest way to move between notebook computers, while maintaining access to the files normally stored in my home directory of each notebook computer. With all configuration files and data files instantly available, for GNU/Linux users anyway, it simplifies switching between computers. The price (CAD273.00) for 1TB should not be an impulse purchase; carefully consider the cost-benefit for your use case.

Based on the I/O speed ratings I am tempted to buy one for my DSLR camera.

As always SanDisk reliability figured heavily in my decision to buy this product.

Was worried about getting a fake card, but was happy to see that it did arrive in a legit package. This is for a security cam and haven’t ran into any issues after about a week of use.
Just a heads up that if you’re ordering from Canada, it could take a little bit of time to arrive. Waited about a little over 2 weeks. It since I wasn’t in any hurry to get it, wasn’t a big deal

…this 32Gb [unformatted volume] works perfectly in my phone and provides temporary storage for photos etc.

There are many disks on the market to choose from and there are also many fakes on the market that look genuine but are far from it – as I know to my cost – if it looks too cheap it’s probably a fake.

I bought mine as a ‘Dispatched from and sold by Amazon’ which provides a level of surety regarding its heritage and a good price/delivery into the bargain.

I am pleased to report that this works perfectly for me and on that basis I am very happy to recommend this item to you.

Thank you for your time in reading my feedback/review – I hope it may have helped you in your buying decision.

I had placed and ordered a Jeemak rearview mirror dash camera, when I realized that I needed a Micro SD Card. Although the order had not shipped, I was unable to cancel and reorder with the “Add on” micro card. So, I ordered this card, because the description indicated it had an adapter. The card arrived in a timely manner, however NO ADAPTER included. I am unable to read this card on my laptop without the adapter, will have to go through the hassle of a return….I guess.
    Update 1
Set up to return the first one, that did not have an adapter and would not format in my Jeemak mirror camera, and reordered the same item and the second does have an adapter. I had not sent the return item in before the replacement arrived. I noticed the 1st card had a sticker over the UPC on the back of the package covering the original UPC. So, an error somewhere.
    Update 2
Neither of the 2 cards will format in my Jeemak Mirror camera. So, here we go for a second return.

Worked in my Nintendo Switch instantly. Was a storage upgrade to my 128 GB sandisk ultra card from a few years ago, which worked for years without an issue. Was able to transfer all the game/save files from one to the other on my laptop easily. Worked without any issues when installed in the switch and have now tripled my storage space! It’s the real deal (packaging and labeling all match genuine sandisk specs as per sandisk)

This Card is excellent.I transferred 22 Gb of music and music clips from my laptop to it. The speed of writing on it from my old laptop reached 30 mbps .Even my hard drive speed when connected to laptop can hardly reach 25 mbps. This is excellent for this micro Sd card in comparison with any bulky harddrive.. I recorded on it 60 Gb of all types: Movies, Music, Books, Encyclopedias. All are well recored and play back fast. I took it insert it with it using the adapter for apple SD card , to read on my ipad pro 10.5 model 2017. Everything works fine. Now my iPad memory is in a sense increased to extra 512GB. I can watch recorded movies on my ipad , hear the recorded music on it . Even Movies not mp4 can play on VLC player fir ipad. as if you buy a hard drive half inch size. The card worth the money paid for it.

Not sure if this is normal but I didn’t get the full 128 gb. It says 119gb with 2gb already being used with preloaded stuff. So thats still only 121gb….. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I bought this 256GB micro SD card for my Samsung Note 8 because I ran out of space on my 64GB micro SD card. I made sure the seller was Amazon and not a third party. It works perfectly as it should.

I purchased this direct from amazon for about $67 at the time of writing,

The performance isn’t great for writes, but meets my needs for reads. I verified the entire card capacity to be around 367GiB – Which is normal since there is a conversion from GB (1000) to GiB (1024) and the reserved space these things usually have.

I’ve yet to test any apps on it, but that is the next thing on my list.
