This is such a clever and safer way of lighting candles rather than using a real flame. It was easy to charge and the charge seems to last a really long time before it needs to be plugged in again. Literally, one press of a button and the candle was lit!

I always read reviews when I am not familiar with a product before purchasing it. I read how people and their pets are SCARED of the noise that this gadget makes, but I bought it nevertheless. I now live deep in the coutryside and need to light a wood stove twice a day now.
I love the lighter. It charged up within an hour after arriving here. It was well packaged and protected and is very sleek modern looking. For me it was necessity. It lit the corner of a crumpled newspaper with ease. I had me a nice warming fire.
As for that scary noise people claim they hear, it sounds like bacon sizzling and lasts 5 seconds. It lights right away. I own a dog and a cat and no one needed therapy. I have been using it for a week now and it works great and my pets are not traumatized.
I would recommend it to friends and family. Actually a friend wants one after hearing it works on an electric arc. Impressive gadget. We all need one to light things might as well get something reliable.

 Not quite the magical lighter solution I was looking for. It certainly does what it says, which is produce an electric arc that can ignite a flame. That being said, a candle flame will almost immediately char/blacken the end of the lighter during the lighting process, which is annoying, and the tip gets very hot. Lighting a charred (previously lit) candle wick is no problem, but lighting brand new ones is a real struggle for this lighter. Firstly, the arc only stays on for about six seconds at a time. And while you might think that’s long enough to light a fresh wick, it’s not. So it usually takes a few tries to light a fresh wick. Secondly, positioning the wick precisely in the arc’s path can be a challenge if you have unsteady hands.

All that being said, USB rechargeability is great, as is the flexible gooseneck. It’s not perfect, but I’ll keep it.

It’s small, compact and lightweight and easy to use. Perfect for lighting candles, the only thing i don’t like is the noise when you use it. Other than that great product overall. Would highly recommend if you love burning candles/wax melts

I was sceptical at first but I bought one. They work great. I needed one for my gas stove which has stopped lighting automatically. I just click this on and the flame whooshes on. When it stops sparking I just plug it in and I’m all set to go again. (There’s a lighting indicator that shows when you’re getting low on the battery). I really like it. I’ll be buying another one for the gas bbq outside. I highly recommend. It’s safer to have around than the old flame kind if you have kids.

 C’est exactement comme la description et encore plus je dirais. J’étais sceptique pour l’allumage de chandelle mais le résultat est excellent. Nous avons essayé avec poêle propane, foyer extérieur, papier…avec ou sans vent et tout fonctionne très bien. Aucun commentaire négatif. Mon conjoint qui déteste les allume feu au butane est maintenant aux anges 👍😉 je le recommande.
