I’ve only taken these out of the box and charged them so I don’t have any long-term or comparison to OEM batteries but I’m impressed so far. The charger has both its own USB cable about six inches long which tucks into a slot under the device and a micro USB port for flexibility. Plugged into a USB 3.0 slot it didn’t enumerate as a device (which is good) but it did charge both batteries simultaneously. Both batteries show serial numbers in the camera menu also.

The only quibble I have at this point is the fact that the label isn’t a different colour the way the OEM one is; that serves the purpose of being a different colour through the little window in the cover so you can tell charged from dead batteries. This can be fixed with a little bit of coloured tape however.

These look like quality batteries, and I do like the charger and its status monitor. If it works as well as the Canon batteries, or close to it, over the long run, I’d say it’s money well spent. My 7D came with one battery and a Canon charger, which was fine for my use, but I lost the charger. So now I have 3 batteries, and 2 chargers, since the best way to find something that’s lost is to buy a new one. I can bring the Canon charger in my bag, and keep this one to charge 2 batteries at home. I’m satisfied.

I wanted this item for the ability to charge two batteries at the same time, but after a week or so, it would only charge in the slot closest to the screen. There is a cable hard attached to the unit for travel convenience, but that failed on me as well, and I have to use the micro USB port and separate cable to charge. The display screen is very useful to indicate the charge amount, but even at full charge I found the performance to be about 60% of the OEM batteries. They are good to have around to finish off the back end of a shoot, or to have as emergency backups, but I wouldn’t rely on them as my primary batteries.

I bought these thinking they would save some money as a Canon’s battery are twice the price and I get 2 batteries and charger for half that. However the batteries in my Canon are LP-E6N but was assured by Powerextra that these LP-E6 batteries are compatible. They will not function correctly in the Canon battery grip and only displays 1 battery even though there are 2 installed in the grip. Placing the Canon batteries back in shows 2 batteries in the grip on the display.

Update: Following my initial comment below, the seller got in touch with me and offered to replace the batteries even if it was out of warranty period. Possibly a bad batch.
So far, the new batteries perform correctly.

Initial comment: I used these batteries with a Canon 90D and a 70D. Since the very beginning, they last only a fraction of the original ones, and it did not improve over time. After less than 20 cycles they are basically useless..

Bought them for a trip so can’t return now. Unusable. batteries won’t work on the 5D mark iii or the black-magic pocket 6k. On the Canon 5d Mark iii it looks ok until a few minutes later it turns off like battery is drained. you can turn it back on but it will happen the same a few mins later. same with the Blackmagic. TERRIBLE PERFORMANCE. DO NOT BUY!

I needed more spare batteries and a charger for my Mark IV. Those batteries are good, charge faster than the original Canon one. I’m pretty sure when charged, they won’t last as an original one, but they do the job, and for the price, it’s worth it.

The only down side is that the charger gets quite hot, so I would recommend to stay near when charging with it.

I’m a photographer, but I also do a lot of sports video recording with my Canon 80D, mostly soccer, but some other sports as well. Sometimes I have two soccer games to shoot on the same day without enough time in between to recharge batteries. Since I have a 7″ screen attached to my camera that also runs with a LP-E6 battery, I usually need three batteries per game (the screen lasts just over an hour with a fully charged battery, so I have to change battery at half time). Therefore, I sometimes have a need for 6 batteries in a day.

I had bought this battery charger and 2-battery set about six months ago and was very happy with it, so I bought another one as two of my original Canon batteries were getting old and didn’t keep their charge long enough anymore! Very satisfied with the charger and with the battery quality. Batteries hold their charge, I never had an issue so far.
