I read the sizing instructions carefully, and even went to the Peak website to watch the video and make sure I got it right. Nope. Medium is too small for my micro 4/3 and telephoto lens. I’m sure this is a great product, but I feel like the sizing information is just not accurate.

My camera = Nikon 3200 (average sized body) + 18-140 lens (large telephoto lens)
GOOD
The medium shell is almost too big, use a lens hood to stop the shell slipping in front of the lens.
I think the medium shell is designed for full frame camera bodies as well as crop sensor ones, so a bit oversized for my camera but that only makes it more waterproof.
The camera still gets some drops on it, but I’ve kept this on the camera in reasonably heavy rain and it’s done the job!
Quick release tabs work well.
BAD
It is difficult to zoom the lens with this on, but what do you expect? I can’t think of another way to easily waterproof your everyday SLR.
Does occasionally get in the way of my capture pro fitting.

I bought this as a wanted some extra weather protection for my 5d. The camera fits easily; and I can use the medium shell with a moderate sized 24-105 lens. The shell is easy to put on and remove; but it isn’t the most usable device when attached – and for me one issue was you lose access to your connectors – I couldn’t easily put a trigger release on the forward facing socket – nor connect a time-lapse plus to the USB socket without winding the device back.
For general walking around and having some extra protection on top of the unspecified weather sealing its a nice addition; but as with everything photography its not quite my panacea.

I ordered the medium to cover my A7RIII either the 70-200 mm lens just fits. It is a little bit of a fiddle to get the cover on, I’m sure it will get easier the more I do it. Seems well made as all things Peak design are.
A Customer –
Used it with a shoulder mounted clip on an extended treck in the mountains. It’s low profile enough to keep it on comfortably, so my camera was protected in knock-you-off-yout-feet gusts of wind and sporadic light rain.
On one of the days it was drizzling occasionally when we started out but later turned into a proper rain. Camera was nice and dry still by the time we got back to camp after more than an hour of being exposed under a fully wet shell.
It can get in the way with manual zooming of the lense, but that’s the tradeoff for not having to wear a large bulky bag shell on your camera.

High quality but extortionate.
I find it impossible to take shots with it on and it is possible for it to fall off while out in the field. These probably cost no more than £5 each to make. £45? Really? A little disappointed all in all

Medium is a Great size for sony a7riii and 24-105mm G F4 lens.
However too big if using the 35mm f2.8 or 85mm f1.8 sony…
If it wasn’t for the money, i would have bought a small and medium one…

Very good product

Exactly what I want to protect my camera, compact and easy to carry along for a fraction of your camera value.
Ermer –
Misleading product. Bought for my crop sensor DSLR, and there is no way that the viewfinder or controls are accessible while shooting, in spite of the claim that one can “Access viewfinder and controls without removing”.
Build quality is excellent but nonetheless did not deliver on intended purpose.

Just enough room to snap pictures under the shell – fits great for the 14-140. You can roll back the sleeve for prime lenses (20mm + 14mm) and hold it back with the hood or step up rings.

Simple and easy to use cover. Got one for when I shoot in rainy weather.
It takes a little effort to cover my Canon 5D MK IV, given it’s size. I’m considering getting a large size for this reason. Any smaller size cameras should have no issue at all.
The lens hood may get in the way of smaller lenses, but can easily be pulled back so it doesn’t cover the image.
Would definitely recommend.

I own Sony A7III. This cover is little tight. It works great if you own a lens with 77mm filter diameter. If you own Sony G master 82mm diameter lens, you cannot put it on and shoot photos and videos. You need to take it off.
