I was looking for a monocular that had sharp viewing as well as the option to connect with my smart phone. The viewing on this product is really sharp and focusing is really easy. I wear glasses and can focus with or without them on. I also have an iPhone 11. The phone attachment and tripod work well. My only complaint is that the monocular is big for the phone to handle, so I attach it to the tripod which holds the phone, and then I stabilize the monocular with my hand. That seems to work well. However, if you are looking to use the phone and monocular quickly together, you might be disappointed. Sitting in one place works well. I have attached a photo I took sitting about 20 feet away from our trumpet vine. With my camera’s zoom and the monocular together, I captured a bee that was in the upper left flower. Definitely a great product for the price! And it’s portability and being waterproof are a major plus for taking with you on hikes and boat trips.

This is no where close to a 40x zoom lens. It is very close to my 10x lens.

EDIT: I have added a photo and video that took with the cell phone attachment. It was very easy to use! I edited the video after the fact but all the images are through the monocular.
I have an upcoming camping trip and I am very excited to use this monocular on it. I thought the phone attachment would be more difficult to use but so far it’s all very easy. The tripod that comes with it completes the package!
