Panasonic DMC-TS30R LUMIX Active Lifestyle Tough Camera (Red)
Mr M Steven Landon –
The lens does not motor out when turned, it has a stationary lens. Other cameras of this size automatically extend the lens when turned on. Two different expensive cameras of the same size turned on in my pocket and stripped the extension mechanism destroying the cameras.

They keep changing n seemingly improving but all they do is change the power supply n the battery had the orevioua generation n silly me assumed that it was similar but nah why would they….reliable if somewhat not quite idiot proof as when there’s water on the lens the picture well shows the drop of water. Cheap enough to give it a 2nd try

Cumple bien con la función sumergible y las fotos aunque no son tan nítidas como las que sacan las cámaras de hoy pues tienen cálidad aceptable, y la batería tiene buena duración.

the camera suddenly display on error ( zoom error ) an don’t work any more
Cliente de Amazon –
llego rapido, pero no incluye con memoria externa, lo que considero debe cambiarse en las especificaciones de compra

The camera is wonderful. I like that the lens does not protrude out so it doesn’t get damaged when zooming in & out. You have to charge using the charger and not USB cord which was different from my other camera but still ok. I like that it is waterproof as I leave it hanging from a little bag on my bike for quick access. I always forget to take it out so it is safe now. Takes nice photos too.

Found this to be a very good snorkeling camera – it’s tiny and doesn’t get in the way.
Good battery performance too – much better than I read about/expected. I kept it on for about 30-50 minutes at a time, taking about 120 photos on each trip, and did not have to replace the battery (though I did bring extras).
My advice is to take the photos in Regular mode (at best quality), then process your favs on your phone in PS Express or Lightroom Mobile to do the color correction. “Underwater mode” doesn’t know how much blue/green to remove, as it doesn’t know how much water is between you and the subject (every pic will be different).
We loved this little camera overall!

Used this camera on a holiday. I was so surprised that the battery dies so quickly! Even when the camera was off. There must be a program that stays on that kills the battery. I could not find what caused this. PLUS, when I plugged the camera directly to an outlet to recharge the battery, it took forever.
I purchased this camera as I loved the previous version that I had bought years ago. Sadly the current version doesn’t live up to its predecessor.
Would not recommend.

Initially, we were happy with the camera however, we soon discovered the battery would not charge, rendering the camera useless.

Purchased this camera so I could take some underwater photos when snorkeling in Grand Cayman. I also do a lot of kayaking so know this will come in handy since it can go under water. Took some great photos and video’s in the islands and had no issues with leaks though I did notice tiny bubbles coming out of the camera but not near the SD card slot.
Paid attention to the instructions and soaked it in fresh water for a few minutes after it was in salt water, and so far it looks to be working very well.

Good, easy to use. The only improvement would be a snap on attached lens cover. I am always worried about putting my finger on the lens. It hasn’t happened yet though. Still I want a camera that can take anything, like a G-Shock watch. This camera is about 60% there, which is 50% more than most point and shoot cameras.
