I used our Instant Pot to make ribs and they were delicious. A few days later my wife tries a new Instant Pot Cheesecake recipe.
As it turns out the original ring can really hold onto a scent and distributes it for the next few recipes to come. Fortunately, the cheesecake tasted great…but with a nice hickory aroma.

Ordered as a replacement for my Instant pot (LUX60) because the original got stinky. Specs say it is for this model, packaging says it is for this model. Popped some beef into the IP for stew….no hint that anything was wrong, seemed to be taking a bit longer than usual to get pressurized, but no obvious issues. When it was done, opened the lid to find scorched meat with pretty much no liquid left (had added beef broth). We were looking forward to delicious stew for dinner. Guess we’ll be ordering out tonight. Seems like the gasket is slightly small, so it did not seal 100% and let the pressure out and just scorched the bottom of the meat. Do not recommend!

We’ve had our IP-DUO60 Instant Pot for a little over two years. It had worked very well until a couple of weeks ago when it did not get up to pressure reliably. There are only 3 seals/gaskets on an Instant Pot and we figured the largest and most likely suspect would be this gasket.
Our order was filled promptly and the replacement seal fit perfectly. Visually it is an exact replacement for the original. It works perfectly and would recommend this supplier (Housewares Solutions). We’ll probably order one or both of the remaining two replacement parts to keep on hand.

Have had my Instant Pot for about a month now and using it for so many different types of food…..it’s just wonderful and the sealing rings look like the only part that will require replacing eventually. It’s good to have spares on hand and the sealing rings look identical to the one that came with the Instant Pot originally. Would hate to have the ring fail and have to wait for a replacement to be shipped. Better to have spares on hand!

I bought these so I could change the rings after I made a curry. with these rings, the original ring has a good chance to air out after a ” pungent dish”. It’s always nice to have spare rings

The seller sent out another pair. They were just as bad as the first pair. They DID NOT SEAL. I dont understand all the 5 stars given. Maybe there was defective production. Either way it did not seal and it not exactly like the original seal.

The pack of two silicone sealing rings for my Instant Pot 6 quart came quickly and they appear to be genuine Instant Pot silicone
sealing rings. They fit in perfectly. I haven’t tried using them yet as they are replacements, but I am sure they will work great. Housewares Solutions has e-mailed me to make sure I have received them and to contact them if I have any issues with the rings.

The sealing ring that came with my instant pot started smelling really bad so was happy to find these as an option. I found it took some adjusting before I could get the ring in place where it would seal when the pot was coming to pressure, so I had to adjust a couple times but this could just be user error on my end.

We use it mostly to make yogurt and it tastes much better than we used to buy at the stores.
