I had a nutone system and replaced it with this one. The hard floor brush works much better on this one. The old one only worked pulling back and this one works pushing forward so it gets the edges much better. The power unit does a much better job on carpet. There is nothing excitingly great about this set but it does the job well. I would definitely recommend for the price.

I so wish I bought this electric power head 20 years ago! I absolutely love it! My carpets have not been vacuumed so well ever! The head itself seems pretty durable. The wand feels like it could break if it is used rough – I have 2 older sons who are rough on things so I’m not sure it will stand up to their use. The long hose is great, i can reach every corner of my home with just the one hose. Thank you for this product!

I was a bit surprised by the power of the power brush head on this Central Vac kit. I was also surprised at how well it cleaned and how many features that has. The hose itself does feel a bit cheap so I’m not sure how durable is going to be in the long run, but as long as I can get a replacement hose, I don’t think it’s going to be a big deal. Really happy with the purchase so far.

First the vacuum kept turning on and off, so I called the manufacturer and they said it was the circuit board so they sent me another board, which I replaced. Vacuum worked fine for a while until I tried the beater bar that plugs into the wall and the panel circuits kept blowing. Then I plugged it into my kitchen plug and it worked, but when I plugged in the vacuum hose it started a fire in the vacuum connection and blew the vacuum circuit plug. When I clicked it back on the vacuum circuit board was fried again. ARGH! Nothing but troubles, stay away. Bought it for my new home which took 4 months to complete after the purchase and now Amazon says I can’t return it because it is over a month since I bought it, now have to deal with the manufacturer in the US… ARGH!

It does not vacuum our low pile carpet like our old vacuum did. It does not pick up the dog hairs. We had to get our own vacuum out and use it to pick up the dog hairs.

Was skeptical buying this product. Purchased, received quickly and very pleased. Quality is excellent and durable. Power head is good, for the price I didn’t expect much from this attachment but wrong!! The power and height adjustment are awesome. All other attachments are good and not made cheap. One small change I would recommend is the floor cleaner brush doesn’t has a clip/pin to attach into the bar so it does sometimes fall off, definitely not a deal breaker though it works much better than what I had. Over all very happy would purchase again.

I just got the package and had a problem that required calling Customer Service. Gabriel helped me out and we determined the problem was on my end and not with the power switch on the hose. He was quite knowledgeable and patient. Didn’t wait more than 2 minutes on hold either which is pretty great these days. My package was missing the wall mount bracket which isn’t a deal killer but I took off one star for that.

I had an older Hoover system that the powerhead quit and found this. It made sense as the hose was also very old and replacing everything cost less than a local shop was charging for just a new powerhead. It works very well and the quality is great, does not seem cheap at all. The attachments also are better than the original ones that came with the Hoover. Very happy overall!

We’ve had this product for just under 4 months (home use not commercial) and I have advised the seller of a design flaw that you may not encounter until a few months of usage. Where the hose connects to the power head wand, the plastic housing is fastened to the metal pipe by a single rivet. A crack has now developed on the housing weakening the entire assembly. I’ve had to secure it with a couple of zap straps.
I am awaiting word back from the seller at this point. But if you’re considering purchasing this product, be aware that this may be a potential problem.
Everything else about this product is great and it performs well, but this design flaw would really cause me to hesitate from purchasing again. This is why I’m giving it a 3 star rating.

I used this vacuum 6 times when it started smoking. I thought it was the rollers because of my wife’s long hair. Nope! I opened up the unit and dirt and debris were collecting inside the carpet brush head itself and it shorted out the motherboard. It was past the return date so I am S.O.L. This unit itself seemed cheaply made of low grade plastics. I do not recommend purchasing this unit. Absolute garbage!

I would advise against buying this set if you really care about the carpet powerhead, because it is an absolute piece of garbage. The carpet height adjustment wheels are so poorly designed that, when you push the machine forward, they fall loosely down into the carpet, dig in, and cause you to either “jam up” and get stuck, or, they suddenly pop down causing the machine to leap off the floor.
So, you really only get to vacuum in the “backward” direction, which is the only time it properly settles down onto the carpet and cleans it. I’ve tried all of the carpet height settings, and there is absolutely no setting that allows this carpet powerhead to work properly on plain-Jane, standard, low pile bedroom carpet. It’s just useless.
Recommendation: DO NOT BUY THIS SET. If you don’t need a powerhead, then get a cheaper set without one. If you do need a powerhead, then get a more expensive set with a decent one in it like a Sebo or Wessel-Werk. I regret wasting a substantial portion of the price on a useless powerhead.

DO NOT BUY FROM THE VACUUM SPECIALITS (OVO CENTRAL VACUUM) ON AMAZON !!
They cannot deliver what you order. Products not the same as in pictures. No Black handle with grey hoses to match Black powerhead and wand set up. Only White and Two tone handles that DO NOT fit in black handle very well. Difficult to separate. I Ordered the 40 ft hose complete kit for $299. received in two separate shipments,, Hose arrived a week later.
First thing right away, the extendable wand came apart at the bottom plug at powerhead connections could have shorted out and shocked me,, luckily not. Hose i received was a 35 ft white handle and hose smaller in diameter and very rigid not expanding hose like should have been, also it didn’t fit the mold space on handle for good. too loose. Had to return the hose as wrong one…. they sent another…two tone white and Black…45 foot, almost too long now, grey hose but switches on handle didn’t work to turn on powerhead on….useless. AND didn’t separate form wand very well, very difficult,,,they didn’t match together at all…. Then after concluding they didn’t have the right parts, agreed to take the 35 foot WHITE hose again because only working option here and take a $50 refund in price difference from 40 ft to 35 ft………Then the JIPPED ME ON MY REFUND !!!! I only received $10.50 back. after calling to asked why, they denied me the difference and complained they won’t be making any profit on my order.. WOW !!!! I said that’s your problem, provide a correct and working productthen….and said i would write about this……He didn’t seem to care….lol Here it is as i said i would do. BEWARE of Vacuum Specialists. DO NOT BUY !! Poor management there, went on his word for refund !! I said i would write about this if he didn’t make right…and here it is. great Job Anal !!

Seriously, words can’t describe how happy I am with this purchase. The rug attachment does the job right cleaning the rugs. Never before I was satisfied with my previous rug attachment like this. And the wood floor attachment covers the area properly and makes cleaning a breeze. Wow this is gonna save me a tremendous amount of time/day and make cleaning fun. I’m super satisfied with this.
