This charger is very important for me, I give this wacth to my mother, but she pass away, I was able to get the wacth back but no chager. When I saw the Amazon reviews it worries me, but I took my chances…. the cable came with it. It works fine. Thank you.

Tried a knockoff and watch kept displaying error to hook up original charger. So i spent the money and got this one and no more error, charges fast. Great unit, a bit pricey

As others have said (now that I’ve already bought it based on the misleading description), no, it does not work with a Galaxy Watch 3. You get a message on the watchface that reads “Use Original Charger”, and this was with a Samsung wall charger and micro USB cable. It’s this base that is incompatible. Also, the packaging was questionable: it arrived in a plastic bag (no box or Samsung-branded packaging) and had what looked like cat hairs on it.

Even though the item is advertised as a Samsung product it does not perform like one. I have ordered two. The first one performed poorly so I accepted Amazon’s offer to receive a replacement. They both do the same things: 1. The charge is very slow and it does not appear that they will get the watch to a full charge.
2. They both flashed a red error message that read “Use original equipment”. Why would a charger with Samsung all over it elicit such a message?
3. The charger is black but it comes with a white cord. Odd.
