I’m a freak with lots of passions, my new hobby is to do light painting and night photography. This camera just delivers it. At 24.2MP and 25600 iso, its hard to beat.
The lens that comes with it is ok for starters, but if photography grows on you, you’ll want to buy extra lenses for specific purposes.
With prime lens and practice, you can take professional quality photos with this camera.
If you’re on a tight budget and wan’t to take portraits, maybe you’ll want to go for the d3500 and buy a Nikon prime lens 50mm with the money saved. Same photo quality with a little less features. I did decided to pay more for this model as i was scared to miss the flip LCD and the focus points.

In the attachments I added a couple of pictures that were taken with it.
Perfect for beginners too, easy enough to understand and operate even if you’re not a professional.

Voici une photo des lentilles fournis avec l’ensemble. Une lentille est du type VR et l’autre, 70-300mm, ne l’est pas.
Pourtant dans la description, les deux sont de type VR. J’ai pas aimé l’expéérience avec ce vendeur que je qualifie de fraudeur. J’ai dû payer les frais de retour et l’ensemble n’a pas de garantie. Fini pour moi les achats sur Amazon

Photo quality – a very light versatile camera with a lot of features for a beginner. Highly recommended for someone who starts with DSLR cameras. The kit lens is very useful. however you quickly see its limitations in terms of photo quality.
Ergonomy – the camera is very small! the light weight is a good feature. Ergonomically it is very suitable for small-handed persons (perfect for my wife).
Cons. – I wished I could buy the prime lens 35mm along with this package BUT I found it cheaper with another vendor. So I made 2 separate orders.
I highly recommend dealing with this vendor and I highly recommend the Nikon D5600 especially for its value for money and its versatility.

I just received it. It is smaller then what I expected which is fine for me but if you have bigger hand it can be a little bit uncomfortable. I didn’t used it much since I just received it but it seems pretty nice and it has a lot of option. The connection to the phone is a little complicated it seems that it have issues connecting with iOS devices. But for the rest seems pretty good for now.

I loved this camera when I first got it. It has since stopped working and when I took it directly to Nikon for repair, I was informed that given I bought this through a third party (TrustedTechCanada) and NOT a certified Nikon dealer, that the warranty was not valid. If you can live without a warranty and take a chance that you won’t have a problem with the item then save the money and buy from this merchant as the shipping was fast and the price was great, if not, be aware that anything you buy through any third party may/will impact your capacity to have warranty work done.

Had the D5100 since 2014. Unfortunately, it stopped working last year. I had been looking for a new camera for quite sometime and no matter what research I conducted, I kept coming back to the D5600.
On Boxing Day, I finally made the leap and bought the D5600, my dream camera, and I couldn’t be happier !! Aside from the STUNNING pictures and amazing details, it is crazy what a difference there is from the D5100. Touch screen, higher megapixels, more FPS, 8 or 10 new scene modes (including party mode, sunset mode, night landscape, AND food), lighter weight, longer battery, Wifi, AND the ability to download pictures from & remote control the camera from your smartphone.
I love it and can’t wait to keep using it.

Love this camera. Quick shipping – It arrived a week earlier than estimated. I know a bit about photography, but am by no means anywhere close to a pro especially with the technical stuff. This camera was easy enough to figure out with some trial and error and allowed me to get exactly what I needed.
