I bought these mats because of the reviews and it being a #1 best seller. I have no clue how this garbage is number one by far the worst mats I’ve purchased! Theres no grip and the water stays in the mats for days it doesn’t dry. It poses a huge safety risk because the grip isn’t good. They are soft and cute but absolute garbage you are better off putting a towel down than using these mats… the toilet mat is great so your feet stay warm when doing your business but in terms of shower mats not great…

How can a product be both Machine Wash Gentle and Dry Clean Only? They also spelled one of the fabric components incorrectly. This is the stuff you’re supposed to pay attention to in manufacturing. I have little faith that this mat will last longer than a few washes.
I wish there was a way we can find out before buying whether something is made in Canada or not.

This rug was exactly as the seller described. Unfortunately, I was looking for a bedside rug and thought it was the shag type I had had previously that didn’t move or bunch up. This is a much lighter weight mat that tends to bunch up quickly and, being elderly, I am afraid of stumbling over it. It could be used for a bath mat and then placed on the tub afterwards, but I didn’t find it met my needs.

Ordered 2 bath mats in beige on the same order. Both mats labelled were the same (same bar code, SKU, although actually as “taupe”), but in spite of that both of the mats were distinctly different shades of light brown. And only after I had taken pictures to post with this review was it that I noticed they are even off-sized from each other by close to 1/2 an inch. Still going to use them (they are absorbent and soft) until I find a pair of bath mats that match, likely in a store where I can see them before I buy them.
I haven’t washed them yet so I can’t speak to their ease of wash (so, no, they didn’t change colour after washing).
Update a week later: rating upgraded to 3 stars from 1, mats wash well in gentle cold cycle, hung to dry, anti skip still grips. Colours still don’t match so it’s the original dyes used.

It came in 2 days! I was shocked also contacted the company asking if there is 2 or one mat in the order, they responded super quick! So it’s 2 mats as a combo dark navy super plush and soft good quality, I would love the bigger mat to be even bigger. Overall very satisfied

Just got these yesterday for one of my small guest bathrooms and they are beautiful! I searched Amazon for mats in olive to bring out the greenish color of the shower curtain (which I also love but is no longer available on Amazon). This color is perfect and exactly what I wanted. They are very soft and are the perfect sizes for this basic little restroom. The color in the first picture depicts the actual color very well – not a true olive but not hunter or sage either. I haven’t washed them yet but I imagine a gentle wash cycle will treat them well. Recommend!

We have had this for over a year now and we love it. In fact we recently ordered another one for the guest bathroom too.
Amazing absorbency and very easy easy to clean. We just put it in the washer and dryer and it comes out clean as new.
And in between those washes, I keep dusting the mat and it looks fresh again.
It had a thin rubber lining at the bottom which prevents it from sliding around.
I am cutting one star for the pile flattening. Everytime you walk over the mat, it flattens the pile and makes it look matted. But that doesn’t affect it’s functionality.
The availability in multiple sizes is a plus point.
Go for it, you will love it too!

Regardless of what the description says about being non slip backing, you barely have to walk past these and they move. They are slippery and do not stay in place. They ‘look’ good, but that’s about it. If you have concerns with safety due to slipping, then don’t buy these. Very disappointed.

Was very happy with this product until we had to wash it. It states machine washable but it absorbs so much water that it’s very difficult to clean. Eventually ends up smelling like wet towels due to absorbency and not drying properly. It was in the dryer for 5 hours and still didn’t dry. We ended up throwing it out because it smelled so bad.

Wanted new bathroom rugs to finally change up the bathroom look. I’ve had the same shower curtain and matching rugs for at least 8 years, and although I still absolutely love the design, I just wanted a different look.
I didn’t necessarily want a solid colored rug… But I just could not find a patterned rug that would make me go, “Dang it, I really want this one NOW!” so it was time to look at solid colored rugs. I also didn’t necessarily want a white rug, but I actually have all white towels (and like them) and I like the fact that you can just use regular bleach on the white rug if needed.
I was absolutely sure that I didn’t want a memory foam rug, and also I didn’t want a rug with this latex backing that crumbles in the wash. So essentially I was looking at the shag rugs like this one. This one won because of the lack of this latex backing I didn’t want, and also because of the price for the rug size (got it on Prime Day 2020).
Frankly, I was not expecting a whole lot… But I was very nicely surprised. The rug feels very plush and soft under my bare feet, and my rug is not threadbare and/or super thin like some other reviews mentioned.
As far as the slippage factor, I am probably at an advantage because the rug is on the linoleum floor in the bathroom (the apartment I live in hasn’t had a bathroom update since being built) and I don’t have big animals that could move the rug around (although my 14-pound cat could definitely move my old beloved rug on the bathroom floor, but it was because the old rug actually had zero backing from the beginning). With that said, I tested this rug on the vinyl plank flooring in the living room and the rug would not move when I tried to move it with my feet while standing on it – it bunched just a tiniest bit. HOWEVER – after ONE wash, the non-slip properties are mostly gone, so if the non-slip properties matter to you, this rug is not the item to purchase. As I said, there are not a lot of things happening that would move the rug significantly in my bathroom, but for other people, this may matter a lot. With that said, the rug washed up beautifully and was as fluffy as on the day it came out of the package.
Can’t say anything about the absorbency as I really don’t spill water on the floor while in the bathroom, but I am sure that the rug will absorb an occasional droplet of water just fine.
The only thing that would make me happier is if I could buy this rug in a bright blue (not green tinted!) crisp turquoise color. Come on guys, you can do it. 😁 Thank you!
