Problem # 1 – Extension Wands
BOTH extension wands broke on the first use. The yellow buttons that connect the wands are supposed to spring back to allow the wands to snap together. The yellow buttons just lie flat and do not spring back therefore the wands are not able to snap together. Thought I would try to hold the wands in place myself but I DO NOT recommend this as the steam can cause serious burns.
Problem # 2 – Brass Brush
The brass brush was noticeably worn down after its first use. It was only used indoors and only used with light pressure.
I did not see a place to contact seller directly but would really appreciate two replacement wands and a replacement brass brush. I would not recommend this product simply because it was not made well.

The tool itself works great. Unfortunelty after a couple of uses my upright wand handle came apart. Too bad it’s a great machine I will reach out to the manufacturer for a warranty repair. Will let you know how that goes. As I said tool is awesome but the add on accessories are cheap plastic.

Steamer died within 6 months…..Take my advice and buy once. I should have went with my first choice and listen to others and bought a high quality product right off the start. But due to budget I choose the cheaper McCulloch. I have a Dupray Tosca Stream Cleaner now which I should have purchased in the first place.

I’ve owned the McCulloch MC1385 Steamer for a few years now but the on/off switch keeps breaking on it (I’ve replaced it 3 times already–the switches are cheap but takes about an hour to take the machine apart and replace the switch) therefore I decided to look for another steamer and purchased a Dupray Neat Steamer. I’ve owned it about a month now and, so far, I am very pleased. My review will be a comparison based on the Mcculloch to the Dupray.
I’ve used both the Neat & McCulloch to detail my car,clean the grout in my kitchen, clean my floors and windows. I prefer using the Dupray to the McCulloch. It is easy to use and does a good job.
BTW, for those that need a new on/off switch search for “SPST Red Neon Light On/Off Round Rocker Switch 6A/250V 10A/125V AC” can find for about $1.00 each if purchasing in multiples (5 for $5 etc).
Comparison:
Steam: The Mcculloch claims to be a 4-bar steamer while the Dupray is a 3-bar (I believe). The amount of steam that comes out of the Dupray is stronger though. The steam on the Dupray seems a little less wet, too.
Attachments: The attachments on the Dupray are more solid and durable than the McCulloch.
Build: The Dupray seems more solid, the Mcculloch seems cheap. On/off button is solid on Dupray, flimsy on McCulloch
Design: The Dupray is a sleek design. Easy to fill water, low to ground — its Neat! The Mcculloch is more traditional, but the wheels are useless and it has a tendency to tip over. The Mcculloch does have a pressure gauge and adjustable control on handle.
Company: Dupray has a 3 year warranty and lifetime warranty on boiler, McCulloch had a 1 year warranty if I recall correctly. Also, Dupray is a company that will give better customer service as well as a company which specializes in steam cleaning equipment.
I am giving the Dupray 5 stars. It is a solid machine, with solid attachments, a nice design, produces a lot of steam and is a good deal at the current price. In comparison, I would give the McCulloch 3 stars.

Excelente máquina de vapor, la tengo desde hace 4 meses y aún tiene una presión considerable de vapor, sabiendola cuidar creo que te durará lo que quieras. Ojo! Revisar bien las instrucciones.

Unit worked great the first time I used it. A week later I go to use it for the second time and it won’t turn on. I’ve tried contacting the manufacturer and they don’t seem interested in warranting the steamer

I have every type of machine, the big professional machines often let me down, so I like to pick from higher end retailer offerings and this one hits the mark as reviewed by many a detailer or the lay down model to this, very nice assortrment of accessories even the large household heads I use for automotive, bigger footprint faster work.
Purge line to regain steam when sitting a few minutes that’s all you need to know! DO IT!

Originally I had a steam cleaner that I ordered from a company called Alpha in Italy for $1,200 and I love that thing it was wicked until I got stolen out of my van. So off to Amazon I went to see how much the next best thing is because I had previously worked with this model in the past and works pretty darn good.
I purchased it two nights ago and I received a knock on the door today and I open it and there’s the Box sitting there I can’t believe it that’s the quickest shipping I hi without Amazon so I’m pretty happy with how quick that darn thing go here plus I’m not complaining at all
and I looked over the machine everything is immaculate no damage whatsoever and all the accessories is there and they’re all in good shape and ready to go. Thank you everyone at Amazon

Machine works fine but you have to keep buying parts because the melt and or fall apart.

I love this device, although it sells for half of what I paid for it at the time. Does great in a variety of uses from steam cleaning windows to disinfecting kitchen surfaces after cooking chicken. A lot of steam for the use. Wish I could put essential oils in the water but it’s not recommended. Also wish I could refill it without waiting for it to cool… would be better if there was a water level gage on it, as I have to drain it before refilling for the next use.

Lo usamos del diario para un detallado automotriz. Nos ha facilitado la limpieza de interiores, mucho mas eficaz y suficiente presión/calor para este trabajo. Para otro uso, requiere mas presión y calor, puede quitar sarro o manchas en loseta pero se requiere mas tiempo y estar frotando.
