I tried six of the 25 packets I bought. Three we threw in to the flames as it suggested. They just shrivelled up and we never did get any magical flames. The other three we opened up and sprinkled on the fire. We at least got color but it didnt last for more than 30 seconds. Disappointing to say the least. There are far better products out there.

This product is amazing!!!!!!! It lasted forever!!! We have a 6 x 6 fire pit. We threw 4 packets in and the fire was very colourful. Sat outside for about an hour and the colour was still going.

Had these before but a different make and was very impressed, thought I would try these as they were cheaper but infact were just a waste of money will get the other brand next time and not bother with these

For about $0.80 a package and you use 3 it’s a pretty good deal. The amount of colours isn’t amazing, but it definitely it’s nice to have in the fire. Lasts about 15 minutes. Would definitely say DO NOT COOK over the colour flames. We tend to throw them on after we cook our food and enjoy the colours after. Great for kids

We love using this in camping. It’s just fun, and much cheaper to purchase on Amazon than at the provincial park. Great way to add colour to your camp fire.

My son bought this and based on the video, thought he was going to have a really cool fire. It’s very minimal in terms of impact. We made a fire in our fire pit last Saturday night so it was dark, and the stuff couldn’t fall through into the grate and we put two on the fire (small fire with just two logs). A few flames that were dark blue could be seen, but very small and you wouldn’t really notice it unless you were looking for it. Nothing like what they advertise. I’d think of it as a bit of a waste of money, to be honest.

Do not order or use this product. It is composed of PVC plastic with metal dust. Basically industrial waste. It is toxic to your health and the environment. I am a medical doctor and would advise not to let adults or children anywhere near the smoke produced from burning these items. As a real threat to human health, I am honestly shocked that Amazon allows this to be sold on its site.

As others mentioned not getting the full 25 in their box, I counted and received 24. Maybe a quality control issue with manufacturer as box arrived wrapped in plastic. Product itself was nice – mostly blue flame, traces of green. Worked better when I placed packet between burning logs than when I put on top of log (where it didn’t totally burn). Worth a try but more of a novelty, when visitors are over, but not sure will use every time.

Read other reviews about not having 25 packs inside as advertised. So as soon as it came, I had to count them. I’ve counted each one 10 times…. results = 21 packs!!!
Haven’t tried them yet but based on the false advertising and that numerous other people claim not to have 25 as it says it gets 2 stars.

Definitely adds colour to the fire, but not nearly as spectacular as we hoped. I’m giving it 4 stars, because it can be amazing if you throw in a few packs at a time, but that gets quite pricy!

I looked at a few reviews and guidelines that suggested you just toss a packet into a fire for long lasting effects. It defo needs 2-3 packs for a decent sized log burner like ours and does not last that long, but it does look very pretty
