This is a great, basic wireless mouse. I appreciate that the dongle is compact. It doesn’t protrude from the computer (other than about half an inch) and it fits inside the casing for travel. It’s not a travel-sized mouse – it’s a regular mouse – but this feature makes it portable.

There’s a simple scroll wheel, and the standard right and left click buttons. It works smoothly and doesn’t skip (I use a mouse pad designed for wireless mice to reduce the ‘drag’ – this might also help).

The mouse came in an ‘easy open’ clam pack – which meant I didn’t scythe off my thumb trying to get it open like with regular clam shell packaging (Logitech’s small but surprisingly meaningful attention to detail here).

Logitech claims the battery will last about one year. That’s a great claim. It does come with a tab that you pull out of the battery casing – this safeguard makes it already better than most basic mice’s batteries. There’s an on-off switch on the bottom of the mouse, and it enters ‘sleep’ mode to conserve battery life.

In sum, there’s nothing that this mouse is really lacking for the average computer user. The Logitech name means quality – I see they even have a 3 year warranty (unsure of its limitations, if any, as I’ve not read the fine print). If anything changes, I’ll update this review. But so far, so great!

Excellent Logitech quality. Always buy the Logitech brand as they work well right out of the box and are simply plug and play. This mouse holds its battery life very well and have used on both a MAC and PC without issue.

It is comfortable to use for my big hands and find it accurate when using / pointing, ect. The price point is excellent and shipped overnight (literally ordered mid evening and was at door by 10 am next morning)

Very pleased with this brand time and time again and wont by any other brand as highly recommend ! Hope this helps in your decision !

Plug and Play con Windows 10 y Mac OSX

I bought this product having had good experiences with Logitech before but they have really let me down this time.

This mouse has extremely weak signal response. My mouse has to be right up next to my laptop for it to work properly and even then it can’t maintain a strong connection for an extended period of time. The worst part of it all is that I’ve only been using this mouse for about an hour so it’s not as if there is internal hardware damage that has accumulated over time. I recommend anyone that’s looking to buy a wireless mouse to not purchase this product.

toda la vida he usado ratones Logitech.

I Made a wise decision. I previously had MK270 combo for which i lost the USB receiver. The keyboard and mouse are in perfect condition but they where sitting idle and gathering dust as they are useless with out the receiver. I was looking to buy a receiver but then was not sure whether i was getting a right product (Receiver) . Then i made a decision to purchase M185 ( good price) and tried it for my keyboard. Surprisingly it worked. Now the new mouse and the old keyboard(MK270) workes with the receiver perfectly. This is a Non-Unifying receiver and a non unifying logitech software must me used for paring. Cant ask for more. Happy with the product.

This mouse is pretty much what you pay for. My only complaints is sometimes it is too sensitive when the cursor is moving but then I have to click 2-3 times for it to press a button. Doesn’t happen all the times but sometimes. It also doesn’t come with the Logistic pairing thing so I can’t pair it to another toggle. That is a little problematic as I don’t want all my USB ports clogged up with different things. Overall, I would get it again in a pinch to have a workable, cheap mouse.

I needed to replace my mouse, but I don’t need anything fancy, just needs to function well on a vinyl sofa arm or ottoman and this one does perfectly. It says it has sleep mode, but I can never tell, because the moment I touch it, it functions. I have been using it regularly for about a month and I have had no issues. I sit across the room from my laptop, where it is plugged in and it runs very smooth and quick. I would have liked if it had been unifying with my keyboard, to save on USB ports, but I have never had a mouse do that, so it was not a big deal for me.
Overall, I am very pleased with this mouse and if I ever need another and this one is available, I wouldn’t hesitate to get it again. That is, of course, if it continues to functions for a good long time!

    PROS:
Great overall mouse for casual use
Good ergonomics. Small, but not too small. Fits beautifully in my hand.
Pleasant sounding clicks that aren’t too loud.
Works well on non-standard surfaces (ie bed sheets, glass, jeans.
Plug and play. Good performance right out of the box.
Its really easy to open the battery door, and really easy to remove the USB dongle.

    CONS
No hyperscroll, but its a $15 mouse
When you shake it, it sounds like something’s moving around inside. But that’s just the ON/OFF switch at the bottom of the mouse (I’m really trying hard to find any cons)
The scroll wheel feels a bit cheap compared to my $40 logitech mouse
    Doesn’t work on glass

I’m going to start with what I didn’t like. I don’t like the on off switch, but that could be very personal. If you always remember to shut the mouse off, this comment has no meaning.

On the other hand, if you are like me, you forget. I’ve left it on 4 or 5 times. The battery still seems strong. The mouse operates on any surface that I’ve tried.

I don’t know if it would be a good gaming mouse. I don’t think it was made for that. It is a good general all round mouse. It is meant to be used for everyday chores.

    I recommend it.
