    Only used for 1 week.
    So far, it’s great.
I have some Le Creuset pots and frankly these are the same quality for 1 tenth of the price. They totally compare in quality.
I bought an other one as well from Lodge and very pleased.

Second one ordered ! Defective again.
I wrote to the seller and they did not even reply back !
These seem to be seconds as the second one ordered was worst than the first one.
Received damaged with a chip on the cover and the side of the skillet has a dab of color blotched on to cover up a damage?

I liked my lodge pan that I bought 2 more as gifts. And the reactions are 5 Stars all the way!. Beautifully constructed, the colour is eye catching but most of all: it cooks wonderfully! Chicken is all golden, heat is evenly distributed. One must not put on high though. Better for the pan and the results. I highly recommend it!

I LOVE this vessel but it is my second order. The first one chipped immediately with gentle use. I thought it was a fluke and returned it, ordered another one – thanks AMAZON – and it also chipped immediately. After one use. What would it look like after a year or 20 years use? For this price, I would like to have it remain in good condition for at least a while! I have le Creuset cast iron and yes, they get chipped but they are hand me downs, 50 years old probably and I expect that, not after 1 washing.

This is an excellent product but I am afraid buying it was a huge rip off as the packaging of this product showed its original price to be Rs 3300 instead of Rs 7000 or anything more. I am sorry to say I am very disappointed with this purchase and would like the balance amount refunded as soon as possible.

I have a full size Dutch oven and love it. I wasn’t sure if getting this one would be overkill but decided to give it a go. I am so happy I did! I use it so much. It is the perfect size for cooking chicken and pork tenderloin….you can sear it on the stovetop then pop it in the oven to finish! Great quality, cleans up easily. Not as heavy as the full size Dutch oven so I find it is my go to for a lot of meals.

Product arrived without the enamel chipping off, assuming this has been a common delivery complaint. The casserole/braiser is justifiably heavyweight for the kind of wear and tear it needs to take (10-12 kg with lid on).
The pan needs no pre-seasoning, but slowly heating up a dash of oil at 140 degrees Celsius and reducing heat to 100-120 degrees Celsius during cooking would be ideal. Keep the lid on when reducing heat to get the best results. With the lid on, the pan does a great job even at 80 degrees Celsius, sealing in the flavours of the food, particularly meat, incredibly well.
When it comes to choosing between a burnt casserole bottom and cleaning-up headaches after a blockbuster meal, you might prefer working with lesser heat and avoid the pain of scraping of residues from the pan bottom.
Patience is the key while using an enamelled cast iron Dutch oven for braising — a task which it executes astoundingly well. And, the results are as good as that of a Le Creuset or Staub pan, which cost four times as much as the Lodge enamelled cast iron casserole.
Again, remember that food runs the risk of burning and forming scar residue on the pan bottom at temperatures exceeding 200 degrees Celsius.
The cast iron retains heat incredibly well when transitioning to lower heat levels, so exceeding 200 degrees while cooking is not required in any scenario. That makes the Lodge casserole a great energy saver as well.
The vessel is incredibly easy to clean if treated right. Use baking soda and hot water to clean stubborn dirt, if any. I use Frosch baking soda spray and a sponge-based scrubber, which yields equally good results.

This is my second purchase of Lodge enameled cast iron and they are JUST. SO. FABULOUS. Cook fast, food is tender and delicious, never dried out, seasonings absorbed, easy to clean, google for tips on baked on bits. Perfection. Have the 6qt and 3qt. Scramble eggs, rinse and boom. So good. Use on medium heat unless boiling, they really heat up. Get a silicon mat as a trivet.

Great piece for cast iron lovers! I used it for roasting and sauteeing, turns out great. Easy to clean too!

Was really excited to receive this! I don’t live in the states anymore but I love lodge cast iron so was willing to stump up for the shipping. But Ive marked it down because I was the enamel paint on the inside was a different color on the lid (a kind of light beige/brown 😕) than in the base (an ivory/cream as shown in the pictures above). I considered returning it, but bearing in mind the shipping costs and time I decided against it. Other than this issue, the pot is great quality, and a joy to cook in.

Je viens tout juste de recevoir ma casserole !!! J’ai bien hâte de l’essayer.
Pour la couleur, c’est pas un blanc franc. C’est. Un blanc gris. Voir photo. Je vous reviens un coup que je l’ai essayé.

I’ve always wanted an enameled cast iron Dutch oven… but then I thought about it and couldn’t think of why? This casserole pot is extremely versatile and works like a charm! First time cooking with it made italian style chicken and rice. Browned the chicken, cooked up everything and tossed into the oven. Simply amazing.
