Wanted a laptop stand that I could bring with me anywhere, so that I’m not hunched over my laptop. I prefer to use an external keyboard and mouse anyway. This was exactly what I was looking for, and at a great price. Can easily support the weight of a MacBook Pro 16” as the stand is very solid. It also has many levels of adjustment.
I chose this model over near identical models available on Amazon because of the extra rubber where you place the laptop. The extra rubber does a great job of holding the laptop in place compared to the thin rubber strips on other similar models.
Stand takes seconds to setup and disassemble, and it comes with a very nice carrying bag. It’s light enough that I don’t really notice it in my bag. I have a similar laptop stand by AmazonBasics, and although I really like that one too, I prefer this one simply because it’s nearly as sturdy but it’s also very portable.

This is one of the rare purchases I have from amazon that I have zero cons to talk about, I can talk about why I love this laptop stand with all the keywords I mentioned above in the headline
The laptop stand is very light, you can carry it in your school bag and anywhere like any piece of item, it’s small, almost the size of a water bottle with the same width, and can expand to full size to accommodate the laptop. It comes with a free cover you can put this in, I totally did not expect that and makes it really easy to carry the stand in your bag. It is very sturdy, I’ve used it with my office Macbook Pro 13 and Macbook Pro 15, and it’s great. It also allowed me to have extra space on my desk as my laptop can now partially be in the air and take much less space. For the price I bought it, it’s totally worth it, and I’m thinking of getting another one to use both my laptops. This was way better than what I was expecting.

I needed a stand to help improve my neck pain from looking down at my laptop all day. I looked at a few different stands and I am glad I chose this one! It is very sturdy, has appropriate padding to protect my laptop from scratches, and looks extremely portable. This will be easy to pack for a longer class or a day working away from home. There are several height adjustments available, the highest three seem way too high for me, but I like the flexibility. I have a very light macbook air but I would use this with my larger pc laptop as well no problem.

I went for this one over the many similar alternatives because I thought the layout of grippy rubber looked better than most. Now that my laptop is sitting on it, I think I made the right choice.
It has a very low profile, and the laptop feels very secure on top of it, both open and closed. It’s still cooling itself well, the stand barely obstructs its vents and I’m sure the added distance from the table more than makes up for it.
It fits very portably into the felt bag that it comes in, and collapses and sets up easily. It doesn’t quite ‘lock’ into place when set up, there’s still a bit of wiggle there, but it’s not really noticeable once a laptop is seated – and even when occationally typing/swiping my laptop, it’s sturdy with its rubber grips – my desk wobbles more than the stand does. There are 10 settings, and the 3rd lowest suits my needs. I haven’t tried any of the more vertical settings for an extended period of time, so I can’t really speak to how stable it is on those higher settings.
Well made, no complaints. Hope the pictures help you make your decision.

I ordered this recently because I’m working from home (we all know why!)
In my office I’m used to using a desktop computer and dual-monitors. Unfortunately I was given a 13″ laptop to work from home. I had to use the laptop as a “2nd monitor”, but I found that I was leaning-in and hunching over when I needed to look at that screen. I was stacking books on my desk to compensate for the height but it was cluttering my workspace, and it didn’t allow the heat to release from under the laptop.
This laptop stand was smaller than I imagined, but does the job. It’s adjustable, compact and reduces the clutter…and my laptop stays cool longer. More importantly, I find my neck/shoulders/upper back aren’t as sore from my terrible posturing from before I got the stand.
It’s also a great price! You can pay more than 2x the price for something more “stylish”…but an item like this should be more about practicality & ergonomics vs aesthetic. Good job!

Didn’t even realize how much I needed one of these until I saw it being used at a video editing meeting. The ability to angle and elevate the laptop turned out to be such a game changer. Long hours with the laptop at the dining table is made so much easier by having the laptop elevated at a more proper level than when it sits flat on the table. Regarding the angle in which you are comfortable typing, that seems to vary between users. I find it comfortable, even more so than when it’s flat, on the two lowest incline settings. My significant other, however, is okay to use even another couple of pegs up but not for me. As a bonus, it’s also made watching media such as youtube or movies that much more comfortable especially if we need the room to eat. Using this is also the only way where our larger laptop can even fit on our slim side desk. I was skeptical that it’d be something of a portable nature but it really is. Folds up smoothly and easily, and although it may not look as such it really is lightweight. Will definitely be bringing it along to coffee shops or wherever I need to set up shop with limited space or better angles needed.

This is NOT useful for laptops — unless you’re using the laptop to view a movie or do a video call. Probably better for tablet but NOT if it has a keyboard.
It’s flimsy — and if used – which I won’t it will snap soon.
I wish Amazon would test the products and/or at least validate the description.
Many products made in particular in China are over stated.
